for two more linear variable it has a function and I have viodeo for that. For non linear functions, you are out of louck. Wolfram Alpha is your friend www.wolframalpha.com/

why would the ditch the good features of previous generation. in fx991es you can just enter the equations and it will ask for the value. here they made it too complex.

no. but if the equation is linear, you can use up to 4 equations to have x, y and z. There is video for that.
