Hello, do you know to do the weighted mean?
@laderabarbee2760 Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure how to do it on that calculator. I had borrowed that calculator from a student to make the video. So sadly I don’t have it available to figure it out for you. Good luck in your search!

Sorry, I don't solve matrix problems and I'd borrowed that calculator from a student so I don't have one handy to figure out your question. I hope you got the help you needed.

What is the difference between a population standard deviation and a sample standard deviation? I am confused to what sd i need to get in our analytical chemistry exam 😂😢
@lbstats3 жыл бұрын
If the question doesn’t clearly state that you were working with a population or sample then you need to determine that based on how the information is given. I would assume is most likely a sample. The formula does give a different answer based on whether it’s a sample or population. For mean it is the same value regardless of being a sample or population.

Whats the button to simplify??
@lbstats4 жыл бұрын
Sakura li What do you mean by simplify? The answer in these videos are final values. Do you mean round your answer?

Okay welldone....but that bottom average results what???
@lbstats4 жыл бұрын
ary mrza So I’m not totally sure what you’re asking, but let me try to explain standard deviation and see if that’s what you were asking about. So average tells you a balanced value for numbers. Standard deviation whether it’s for a population or a sample is telling you the spread of the numbers compared to the average. For example if you had the data set that consisted of 3, 5, 7 then the average would be five. And you can think of the standard deviation as being about 2 since the 3 and 7 are both 2 digits away from the average of 5. The spread is how far away the other numbers are. The math won’t be exactly a standard deviation of 2 because the 5 is 0 units away from 5. If you look at my playlist under chapter 3 I have a few videos were I explain standard deviation

How can I find this key in the calculator 1/x
@lbstats6 жыл бұрын
waxin2099 hi, I’m not familiar with that calculator by that name. If you want to upload a screenshot of what the Calculator looks like I might be able to help you further.

use the top left black key. It is x to the -1 (which 1/x).
