good review! I am original G-SHOCK fan since 1983! I was 13 years old in 1983 and now I am 47! I bought the GA 735A big bang black model and it is nice...but not worth $180 I paid in my opinion..it is very nice watch and I think for price it would have more than the standard GA 700 line up....I wish it had dual led for digital display and more than one led for analog...I personally like the older blueish green illuminator backlight but this is what is given by Casio....it is almost in a way old technology to me... because my first G shock came with incandescent backlight and was yellowish but it worked...these new led while brighter still seems to me to be a cut corner from Casio...I would like a regular second hand too over digital seconds....and I wish they would have put super luminous paint on hands and hour markers...or better yet...a G shock with tritium vials would kick ass!...but I'm G-SHOCK forever! thanks again for your time making good videos my G brother!

I wanted this but bought the Eric Haze one just cause it got more personality. Only disappointment is that there's no auto light when you tilt your wrist 90°. I don't mind the LED bulb light.

To be honest though, at least for me, I wouldn't really turn on the auto light function for the non solar G shock. I might play with it every once in a while, but will definitely not use it that much

First I might had misinformed in the video. The GA-700 actually didn’t have autolight. Anyway, I have to agree with you, despite the convenience. It is a bit concerning each time I turned that feature ON, worrying that I might need to swap the battery earlier.

Casio dropped the ball on the backlight for the GA-735 models. It's good for daytime wear ☀️and damn near useless at nighttime 🌚 .

More than half of the things that are on that watch you will not use. The gshock that I purchased more than 30 years ago still works except for a few band replacements it was only bought for looks. I picked up a old Timex analog for 25 dollars , no bell's and whistles and it's better than a Rolex. Nice and simple.Thank you

i have a ga700 as well. my wrist is flat 16cm, i don't know how to wear it.4th hole is a little to tight, strap leaves delicate imprints on skin. And 5th hole is a little too loose, it doesnt go round the wrist but it's too loose. How to wear it?? manual says there should be loose enough to put a index finger between strap and a wrist. i can put finger beetween when it is on 5th hole, and can't do this when on 4th. What do you suggest??

I have a g-shock mudman I did not enjoy to used it because when I wash my hands it gets wet inside... And I went to the store for a service and its a sad news it still desame, it has moist!... I get madman instead of MUDMAN!!...

I have a recent casio mudmaster watch I bought it on eBay the seller says that this new one looks new but at night it marks L battery and you press the button of the Light and it does not work and it seems on screen that L battery function the next day what I take out to use it and the light works again but so I want the light in the day if at night this function does not work I want to know why and if I should return this watch if it is damaged but I ask before doing this is something that I do not think I paid almost 500 usd for something that I can not use or that function does not allow me to see the time in the dark. Thank you.

I find that the Illuminator is pretty much useless in the dark. It's almost impossible to see the time even with it on.
