I'm getting this one next week. I had a black inverse display and HATE it, so I got this one. To me, this is the ultimate standard square G-Shock watch. This is a better value than a Vostok. The ultimate watch.

You did it very well, fyi i changed my gwb5600bc-b1 to positive display and what the mg version look darker. I really love this watch becase multifungtion and presicion. I will add the kapton on module screen to make it darker and protect the module lcd.

I like the green bezel on your mouse version but the white "GShock Protection" on the stock watch. If you combined the two, that would be neat.

My favorite thing about this module is , as you cross time zones the app automatically updates the watch! I have the gw-b5600ar on a combi bracelet and it is the business!

Just been testing this feature out. When you are in the different time zone, do you need to press the bottom left button and hold it in to connect to your phone to fetch the new time? So the phone picks up the new time then you need to connect the watch via Bluetooth manually to pick up the new time?

i liked the gw-b5600ar model. But the red is too hard on my eyes. Low light seems difficult to read.

Nice video. I have the GW-B5600MG-1 and the GW-B5600BC-1. The BC is similar to the blue one that you modded but it has a metallic gold ring around the display instead. It also comes with a Combi Bracelet V2, which is very good.

Simon, I have this watch and the Citizen PMD56. I'm surprised you sold this G-Shock for the PMD56. I'm keeping my PMD56. I had the PMD56 first. Now i just want to wear this G-shock. It's the most rugged 1- watch watch there is to me.

The blue one was available for around 70 Euro I believe for several months before it got discontinued. With Casio G shocks a steeply reduced price seems to be a strong indication the watch will be discontinued it seems.

I have noticed that when sync the b5600 to my phone app is always 0.2s behind atomic time, not really a fan of that. Also my old GW 5610 has better radio reception than the bluetooth model, it will always sync faster when i do manual synk side by side. I will buy the updated 5610 instead of another Bluetooth square, that way I get all the new features without the Bluetooth.

I've noticed this, the apple watch is always dead on atomic time because the apple watch has a built in adjustment to correct itself. The delay is caused by Bluetooth itself. Personally I can live with the delay but totally understand your point. I love Bluetooth so it's hard for me to move away from it. I hope you enjoy your next G shock!

First it was Seiko SNK-800 series, had to buy all 4 colors. Then a Dress KX. Then the Seiko Land tortoise models (5 of these now). And now G-shock (I have the blue 5600 as shown in this video, a 5610U, and the green Casioak with solar/bluetooth).......God help me.

The green mg model g shock does it sync with the multiband 6 or the mobile phone, what if your phone is dead, does it have feature to sync with multi band 6 atomic tower?

@@immysaiyed2660 It *should* do. It can be a bit hit and miss, but if it fails to sync via bluetooth, it should fall back to the mb6 tower. I did a video testing the 3 B5600 watches. It's on my channel.

There is a cheap version of it for 80 or 100 pounds non Bluetooth, is worth having Bluetooth mg model or the red line facial model cheap one is good enough what do you think? Is the module better on the green mg model instead of the cheap red one.

Good question. The GBD is more of a sports and fitness watch whereas the b5600 has solar power , is a different shape etc. Either one would be good if just depends how much you value solar power Vs a sports watch with a 2 year battery.
