Gor myself the black a few weeks ago. Love it! Its the most feature and sensor packed gshock bar none bar price. Am I wrong? Even a $3000 GMaster dosnt have as many features and the screen and lightweight comfort. The sensors are a personal choice obviously.

This watch is the deal. Very cool. I like that it is solar powered. Charging watches is a drag. I am sure there will be times it will be necessary to charge this one too, but maybe not as much as an Apple watch, which are kind of weak looking. I wish Casio would put tritium tubes in a G-Shock. That would be the cool too.

What was kind of weird for me is that for swimming pool mode only two pool lengths are elegible (25/50 m/yd)… what if the gym/home pool is 12 m.?

Good question mate, I don't know the answer to that one...I will see about my water tests once the pool is open here in Canada...still a little chilly..thanks for watching/ cheers

i had this watch like 2 weeks ago...and battery life is really great...seems it can withstand about 1 week...i tried charging it on a sunday, fully charged HIGH, then it went low leaving 1 bar left sunday night the following week, leaving all the heart rate, GPS turned ON. this is way better than its predecessor...i think????

Yes mate, I agree, I have seen the same results about a week and I leave as much functions engaged as I can everyday so its working for me. Not bad, gets good help from solar. Thanks for watching.

I wanted to keep it but the one way notifications without smart notifications to reply and the horrible tiny notification readout made me dizzy. Those 2 things I had to give it up.. Great overall Casio watch tho. They need to improve on the Smart part.

Love my watch. Took it in the sauna, pool and even hit some pads with it on. I like how tough it is. I don't worry about it at all. The barometer is cool. I even wore it while having sex with the miss. I try to break records now lol. The sleep tracking is nice but sometimes it doesn't work. overall nice g shock watch.

Hello! I bought this watch and I think it has a problem with solar charging The watch came with 3/5 battery lines, I exposed it to the sun for a total of approximately 8 hours and it did not charge at all. Should I have left it longer or is that how much solar is charged? In the manual it is specified that it does not charge until high, but I think one line should have charged more. Thank you
@TheCovertCrow5 ай бұрын
I no longer have it but it was great, and yes it should charge up to full, lasting approx. 7-10 days depending on how much features you use. I would take it back and get another. Thanks for watching

I have been using mine for a week. I noticed that it tracks my every day steps but not my distance. It tracks my distance only when I “activate” the GPS in the walking mode. So is the GPS actually on when a mode or workout is not activated? Would be nice to track my every day steps and distance without having to get into a workout mode.
@TheCovertCrow Жыл бұрын
Yes, I believe it does the everyday step monitor but not the distance unless GPS tracker is engaged for your activity tracker. If you go to your life log setting you can see duration, steps, energy used and percentage of your goal reached. Thanks for watching cheers.

Really good review. Great you cover the app too. Does the app sync data to Apple’s Health?
@edopasaribu5053 Жыл бұрын
Not at the moment and with current Casio Watch app, I think Casio still in infancy for health data interconnectivity
@adrian1229 Жыл бұрын
no....thats the thing, the only one that syncs with Apple health is the H1000, but this one H2000, it does not, but CASIO is updating its app...as of April so hopefully ..they can fix the issue and that way the H2000 can also sync with Apple health and other health and fitness app.

It has not even simple backtrack function, so GPS is pretty much useless for any kind of navigation in this watch. I will sell mine and instead get a Garmin instinct 2x ...way better! And I say this as a G-Shock fan !

No apps, and no way to get the workout info into Google fit or other apps is a non starter. Notifications are painful and you are better off pulling out your phone.
@TheCovertCrow Жыл бұрын
Good points MD...I'm not in it for the notifications, and not really worried about the data going somewhere else, it gives me the info I need and I MOVE on...but well put. Thanks for the comments, appreciate your points. I also am not a big fan of the time it takes for GPS to acquire...should be as fast as the RANGEMAN, a power house multi band 6 that does it all on its own. Cheers, keep watching and see you soon
@MichaelCDavis1 Жыл бұрын
@@TheCovertCrow with my security system it sends a notification that has a screenshot. On my galaxy watch it shows as a little picture. At a quick glance down I can see if it’s the neighbor’s cat or a real threat without stopping work or pulling out my phone. Just like the previous model in workout mode you don’t see the time while running. I’m sure that can be fixed with an update.
@szlaeyer22 Жыл бұрын
@@TheCovertCrow about the GPS: it seems it will acquire the signal constantly faster if one stays put. That and a decent amount of visible sky reduces the wait, but it’s a reality that it’s not the fastest. However, I’m getting 5 days of battery life, while I need to charge the Apple Watch twice a day :) so, to each his own.
