Loved this video! I'm not a watch collector...but I have loved being a watch owner and feel naked without one ... even though as a young child I always seemed to have a pretty good notion what time it was. Mum would say we could go out to play, but must be back by.. whatever time she said. I could look at the sky, how bright it was & where the sun was & intuitively know what time it was - to around 10 minutes accuracy. I'm old enough to have been brought up on wind-up watches. Loved my wind-up alarm pocket watch - that kept amazingly good time for a cheap watch..It kept going for a few years, before, inevitably it stopped. Wind-up watches (ones I could afford) seemed to have a fairly short lifespan. The most exotic watch I ever had was a pop-up enameled solid silver watch I found in the attic of the big old house we moved into. Unfortunately I've lost it ... Eventually moved onto a 'divers' watch because I had a bad habit of drowning watches because I forgot I was wearing them...still wind-ups. The first accurate and waterproof and battery-powered watch I had was a Casio, in my late teens. It eventually got ruined after the watch shop I where I got the battery replaced forgot to put back the rubber gasket that made it waterproof...they also denied it when I took the watch back and pointed out they had not put the gasket back..🙄 Skipping a lot of watches (mostly Casio) my current watch (also a Casio) is a bit different. It's solar-powered. As long as I get out in the sun a few minutes every day or even every few days, it just keeps going, with remarkable accuracy! & It's waterproof. It doesn't have a backlight (only bad point)..It does have slightly phosphorescent hands and dial markings but remains very difficult to read at night. I hardly ever take it off..I find the rubber straps tend to break sooner the more you bend the rubber by removing daily. Always seems difficult to get a good replacement strap... Anyhow, was pleasantly surprised and delighted to learn you're a bit of a watch nut...😁

Love your style, humour and watch collection. I've viewed a lot of watch content, you have a unique and refreshing style. Absolutely brilliant.

I’m a female with a 10 watch collection and of those, 7 are Casio. They are hands down my favorite brand. And they look great!

This was a fun surprise in my recommended feed! I too have a 1991 dated CWC G10 on the required black NATO strap. And I have the Mission to Pluto MoonSwatch. However that was a 2nd choice for me at the store because the Mission to Saturn was unavailable that day. There are many more watches, but that is where our collections intersect. Thanks for sharing!
