We generally record direct line out to get the clearest sound in the studio, but the speakers do sound fantastic in the room.

Good question! No you don't; this piano has an acoustic piano key mechanism, but instead of strings it has sensors. It's the best of both worlds.

My dilemma before buying it: does the faster speed repetition than acoustic grand pianos make it more difficult to play advanced classical music (especially with difficult fast passages) on acoustic grand pianos, if you practice mainly on the Casio GP 510?
