People everyone saying this shouldn’t be 4k don’t understand the ridiculous level of finishing required to treat a titanium compound of this caliber with zaratsu polishing. Frankly, this is probably the best value you could get at retail for any watch. The amount of technology that went into producing a watch like this probably exceeds anything Rolex has spent on any given model. While the Rolex’s and Patek’s spend their budgets on marketing, which you absorb as a buyer, Casio spends on R&D. To anyone who is objectively analyzing the price, it’s a good deal. And given they are unbreakable, a fantastic deal secondhand for 2k-2.5k which is what they sell for.

There are also plenty of quartz watches that sell for thousands, FPJ has a 12k retail (35k gray market) quartz watch that is sold out for years.

I liked your comment as I agree with most of it…But the movements on those watches are prices pieces of functional art and certainly come at their own costs too. It’s not all marketing

I would love to own this watch but it is too expensive for normal people like me I will stick with my GMW 5000 which is still another expensive watch but is closer to my price range thanks for the video.

Amazing watch, I`ve never seen such a beautifully finished Casio. Costs $5500 here in Australia. But at that price point I think I`ll save an additional $3000 and buy an Omega Seamaster.

Considering what you can get for $4,000, as far as watches is concerned,you really have to be a Casio hard core fan and a person with money to throw away, cause what essentially your buying is an expensive bracelet.

For the same $4000 USD I would rather buy a second-hand "Entry level" Rolex Air King from a reputable watch dealer...It is ALWAYS a Rolex... And buy a Casio G-Shock DW5600BB that costs $95 USD to wear as an everyday watch... It is also a tough little watch that can take a hell of a beating before it will fail...I agree with you this MRG5000B-1 is an absolute STUNNER... But I just don't see a $4,000 USD watch. This watch is probably better suited for the person that has multiple type's of watches and the 4k isn't a a burden to spend. Some people are well off and don't mind shelling out thousands for watches that are non traditional in nature but I am aware that most will feel it's too much for a digital watch, I use to think the 10k FP jorne quartz was too much now it's selling for 30k , I know that's an extreme example but it's still a Quartz watch but a very good one.

They had to sit down when I told them it was $4000 USD. I really love this MR G Casio G-Shock watch ..It is a stunner. But I simply could not bring myself to pay $4000 USD for a digital watch. It would put a hell of a dent in my savings...My most expensive watch is a Silver Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1ER ... I paid $500 USD for it... It is as much as I would ever pay for a Casio digital watch. I have a vast collection of Casio digital watches and I have 4 G-Shocks and I love them all. My late grandmother bought me a Casio F100 ...The model with the four pusher buttons on the top of the watch from around the year 1977 when I was a small child and it got me hooked on watches.. Thank you so much for this video .. Long live Casio

Digas lo que digas , el precio del reloj es una locura , no te engañes hermoso, está muy bien que el que tenga dinero y le guste se lo compre es totalmente comprensible, pero una cosa no quita la otra, Casio se ha pasado con el precio , ese es un reloj de 2500€ como mucho.
