Why sound of key so short - 5-6 sec. My upright piano is play around 20-30 sec key this sustain pedal

Piano sounds are ok, all other instruments are not. For mullti instruments, Yamaha gives much more quality for the buck.

Yamaha in this price range lacks the tri-sensor keys, Yamaha in this price range or even higher, you wouldn't find a model that's actually like a "Synthesizer on top of a Digital Piano" with all of those adjustments to ALL of the tones on the Piano, YAMAHA don't even has a preset hex layers as that on this one......and the talk goes on and on actually it all depends on u and what you're looking for, after all the difference in other sounds is not that bad as u may think, and the Piano sound here is not just "good", it's one of the best at this price range, may be not that much like some other models, but also not that lower than them.

I Have a PX 560 for gigging & it is superb , I previously had (still have!) the PX 330 & also loved that for gigging as they 'amp up' so well, I have had Roland's, Korgs & Yamahas previously & although some of them were very good on their own speakers or through quality H/P they just didn't seem to 'cut it' like the pro (L+R audio out ) Privia models, when connected to a quality external amplifier . In fact the only 'downside to the PX 560 is that they have removed the more subtle 'PRIVIA' lettering that was on the back of the PX330 & replaced it with a huge 'CASIO'' logo, so I now regularly have to go into a ' They are a bit like Skoda cars , used to make only cheap crap, but those days are now well & truly long gone' routine !!!

I bought my first Casio DP (PL-40R) 15 years ago because at the time, it had the best action I could afford (I paid $1200 for it back then). It was heavy but I moved it from IN to CA, to Vegas then back to CA and played hundreds of gig with it. 5 years ago I bought a Yamaha MOXF8 to replace it but after an hour of playing, the Yamaha has sat there untouched to this day; I still used the Casio at home and live. 2 years ago I decided to try the Korg Kronos 88; it's a nice keyboard but extremely heavy and after an hour of playing, it too has sat untouched. I bought a Casio PX-5S last month and enjoyed playing it, but found myself messing around with menus and sliders more than playing. I bought the PX-560 2 days ago and have been pretty happy with it so far. I also own a Roland D-50, Korg DW-8000, Korg R3, Yamaha PSR-S970, Casio XW-P1 and a few other boards. I still have all 5 of these 88-note pianos in my room right now but will sell the Kronos and MOXF8, donate the PL-40R to a family and will keep the PX-5S and PX-560 for now. I may end up selling the PX-5S in the future. I love 3-4 keyboard setup so I don't try to look for one keyboard that does it all, I don't like playing organ or synth on a piano action anyway. I think I'll be pretty happy with the PX-560 primary for piano, EP alone or mixed with strings or pads, the XW-P1 for some fun synth stuff and possibly organ, and the PSR-S970 arranger. In the end, spending lots of money (I have), buying lots of equipment (I have), being overly critical (I can be), criticizing others (I've done that too) isn't what's important, we should be playing music!
