Worth every penny, been using mine for 10 years now, with no maintenance whatsoever, still keeps accurate time and the power-saving feature is amazing, I only have to change the resin strap because it already gave up on the 8th year of use, changed it with an army green nato strap, looking forward to another decade with it now

Nice review. I have worn mine everyday for about 3 years and am amazed at how well it has held up.. As for the solar power, I have never seen the reading showing anything except HI. This watch is an excellent value and I would recommend.

I got this model dirt cheap at Walmart. It had been in their display for a very long time. It had a yellow markdown sticker for $15.00, and when I took it to the register it rang up for $10.00!!! Amazing watch, but damn, small wrists beware. This is a big one.

I have a grey and blue one, they are very good but unfortunately what let's it down is the night time, the glow in the dark hands are almost invisible and the light is very weak, other than that it's great.

Hi, good instructions but a bit too quick for me. My watch is set on Wellington time and it’s slow by seven minutes to the world clock and the daylight saving time is out by 2 weeks. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please advise, I am out of ideas. Cheers mate. Harera

FYI. The hand set feature is to only get it to 00:00 (both hands at 12). If you try to set the analog time with that it will throw it off when the digital syncs back up with it. SET THE DIGITAL TIME FIRST.

I have one that I’ve been using for about 8 years, I first got it for scouts and it’s scuffed up but ticking! Casio has always been my brand of choice for sheer value and quality. I think mine has an acrylic glass though?

Just picked one up for £35 over here in Scotland, totally agree that this watch is a steal, might get "G-Shock" adaptors for fabric strap, as the resin strap (for me) is not my favourite feature..but hey ,why complain, this is a no-brainer bargain... !!

Agree. But don't store it in an unlighted place for too long. When the battery totally drains (yes, it has a battery, a rechargeable one) the battery replacement will be more expensive than the watch.

@@bertbirge3617 I ended up buying the white one. Had it for 3 years now. To this day,........ I kid you not, it's still in MINT condition. It literally looks like I just purchased it TODAY. Not a single micro scratch nor stain or anything at all. I've kept it like this with intensive care. When I wear it, I make sure to wear it with a short sleeve shirt or with my sleeves rolled up. I'm always weary of keeping my watch close to me when walking through door ways. I'm really careful to not bang it under a table when eating. I wear it ONLY when I go out somewhere. I wipe it clean everytime I come home as I have no need to wear in the house. When not wearing it, I place it in it's original box and store it safely in my closet.

If the analog hands do not automatically syncronyze with the digital tume that you set, use the instructuins on manual 5208 pp E42 and 43 wuth this inderstanding: "2. Ad0fter evrything is the way you want it' actually means "After the hour and minute hands are aligned at 12 0'oclock, ...."

I like it but I'm older so I need better glow at night with big digits. The lume fades in the night. The tiny digital screen too hard to see. Plus I like radio controlled wave ceptor types. Very accurate. The best is my G-shock MTG-900. Soo easy like a watch is supposed to be

I don't believe that there is a way to actively turn off the digital display. The power saving feature does shut it off but this is a passive feature that only occurs when the watch is set down in a dark setting for 60-70 minutes. Thanks for tuning in!

Those SKX Seiko watches keep horrible time, they are Too heavy and chunky although they are old school cool and look great... The g shock is rugged and expensive,also the digits are too small for us older guys 50 + in age and those round blinking eyes are useless real estate for potentially larger, more legible digits... battery life will be 3 to 5 years... The casio tough solar analog digital is the winner ... Light weight, legible analog, solar power (will out last the g shock) price is $39 at Walmart and very comfortable...I have the orange digit AQS810 and love it... It's my work beater and has been worth every penny.
