I love Casio. I had one when I was 17. It lasted till I was 32 years. I thought it was the battery issue, however it still died after the battery change. I still keep it in a box for keepsake. Loved that watch, it has been through my teenage years till adult. 💜💜💜

I recently bought a F91W. I love it! Very comfortable on my wrist, it is not oversized. I am so glad I do not have to wear a hubcap on my wrist.

I remember getting a casio digital watch in 1993 for Christmas. I forgot the model number but it was the one that didn't display the date above the time. You had to cycle through the display to see the date. Then in 1993 it was a $70 watch. It had a 30 meter dive rating, and I dived in 30ft of water with it. No problem, and it survived all the abuse I put it through including hot weather and humidity. The strap broke after 10 years. However I still used the watch. That watch lasted me till 2015 when the battery finally died. Finding a F91 for less than $20 is a no brainer. Especially for college students where/when phone use is prohibited.

I have the Casio A155W (the precursor to the A158W) which I've had since 1989. I bought it at 14, and I'm 48 now! 34 years old! I've replaced the battery every 10 years or so (remembering to reset the AC so the module functioned correctly afterwards) and at the same time cleaned the strap and polished out the acrylic scratches with 'polywatch'. Amazing that it still runs and looks so good after all that time. My cheapest watch, and somehow still my best watch! 👍

you should get a new strap for your f91w, man! It's super easily attainable and super cheap. I think the wear and tear on your f91w is beautiful, it shows all the rigours you have put it through. Definitely worth getting a replacement rubber strap and continue wearing that little winner. :)

The F-91 works really well with inexpensive and thin NATO straps. Navy blue with a red pinstripe looks particularly good.

Nice vid. Some thoughts: you can help eliminate the scratches on these acrylic crystals with Polywatch or even rough toothpaste. (First use fine sandpaper if scratches are really bad.) You can put the f91w on a Nato strap or get an inexpensive replacement strap. And I'm pretty sure 7" is average wrist size, so 6.75" is a little on the small side.

i went to war with my casio hda600. On the 1st year, the resin strap broke and i replaced it with a nylon strap that i got from a broken timex camper. Casios are great timepiece. And so is your skx😉

I had a F91W for 13 years. 13 years with a single original battery. Shower, dirt, you name it. Unfortunately when I tried to change the battery it did not work anymore. I bought another one, even the price was a little high, $17.

Occasional correction is needed but it only varies about less than 30sec each month💪

You can set the time 1minute advance after 1year can it back to set it again for 1minute advance it is better advance than late

FYI a158 & f91w are not vintage watches.. it is just a vintage style watch... A vintage watch is any watch that is 25 yrs old or more from the date manufactured weather it is new old stock or beaten up.. get a vintage casio marlin from 1980's so you can really experince having a vintage casio watch.. vintage casio marlin from 80's are the best casio watches made of all stainless case..
