I bought 3 of these about 15 years ago for work watches - I worked on offshore installations & ships. Used for water sports too. I'm still on the first one, the other 2 are unopened. Great watch. The strap broke after about 11 or 12 years though.

Bought one today. Great watches but at first I thought the alarm didn't work, so I set it again and it does work but it isn't audible unless I hold it very close to my ear. It doesn't matter, I use the alarm on my phone anyway. Thanks for the share.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that actually it's safer to swim with your watch than to use it while bathing because the metal is susceptible to thermal expansion which exposes the watch to humidity steam and water

Was on a Reddit board and I read that this is one of the most counterfeited of the CASIO watches 😮

Never knew that. I know that the Casio F-91W is a watch that is favoured by counterfeiters but I didn't think for one minute that the Casio W-800H is also on their hit list of watches to counterfeit. Cheers for commenting, Tony - WTA

anyone else with flickering screen on sunlight or is it just me did i buy a defective one or a fake one ?

Hi there! I have two of the Casio W-800H digital watches and unfortunately neither of them flicker in direct sunlight. I am not sure what could be the issue with yours as it may be anything from a low battery to a defective module. If you have a receipt from where you got it from it may be worth asking for an exchange and see how you get on. Hope it helps. Cheers, Tony - WTA
