I searched the entire Internet and it is the only movie showing W-218H and Dw-5600E side by side. W-218H looks like a cheaper alternative for people who do not need the strength of G-shock but like the style of the squares. Good job!

Go to Watch Geek and see the torture test between the G-Shock and the regular Casio digital. You will be surprised to find the the $20 digital Casio has more durability per dollar.

5600 is looks good and size Ok but 5600 is too thick. thickness is important when you wearing shirts or see the time. y don't need that hardness in daily life. If you want digital for sports or daily, find some less than 10mm thickness.

i just bought one of these for under £20 in the UK - its just a less rugged version of the 5600 at about a quarter of the price. thanks for the side by side video comparison

Bigger numerals on display than the G Shock shown here in comparison. Less writing on the case, not so cluttered. Two reasons to prefer the cheaper watch. I can take the radio time from another watch and battery replacement is not a big deal on such a cheap watch.

I have that same G-SHOCK DW5600E-1V and the W-218-3A that has the bezel in military green. They are two very good watches, resistant and comfortable to wear on the wrist. If you are looking for quality choose Casio !! 😎👍🏻

@@saraszabova7523 Hi! You can shower and bathe with this watch, they have been tested for a water resistance of up to 5 bar, about 50 meters. The truth is that it is a good watch resistant to daily use and water without problems. I hope I've helped 😉👍🏼

Well dont forget, w218 is 50m water resist, w217 is simply WR. Which cud imply significant build quality differences. Big factors when dealing at such low prices. ⌚👀🤓

I have never swam in seawater with this watch. However, according to Casio's FAQ, it seems okay to swim. After swimming, wash off the salt with fresh water.
