ABSOLUTE TOUGHNESS A 10-year battery life, 10-bar water resistance and 10-meter dropping shock resistance. These were the three requirements of the “Triple 10” concept that led to development G-SHOCK's shock-resistant structure. I own many high end swiss but absolutely love G-Shocks. I wear my analog Frogman and MRG's more than any other watch I own! Its amazing to hear from the designers themselves. I'm glad Casio decided to do this!

Hmm! Fun, in this video the hands on the dials are completely centered, that is not the case with the original AW-500. Compare yoursel with the pic on 2:17 and the ones in his hand at 2:26. The analog part on the old model is much higher up on the dial.

What a great design...i would like more steel models of g shock line,resin is a good material but after some years smells bad,and isnt as much robust as steel.With steel material you feel something luxury plus reliable on the watch.So my opinion at least a steel cover of every g shock would be great,i think is a big upgrade.
