Even through Casper sucks,but i still consider these cartoons and live action movies to be a guilty pleasure,I think this is one of the much better Casper cartoons because instead of having Casper keeping using the same formula over and over,The reason I kinda loved this cartoon is when Casper took a level in badass by becoming mean to torture the ghostly trio,This is the Casper i kindly liked,rather than the bland and friendless ghost that just keeps scaring people when he does nothing wrong.

Be careful what you wish for, you might get it. Even though Casper is faking his being a very demonic fiend, one would tend to think he must have a pretty evil mind to be able to torture the Ghostly Trio in such villainous ways.

That was probably on the part of Paramount's animation staff. After eleven years of "nice" cartoons where Casper acted so "goody-goody", I'm sure director Seymour Kneitel must have said, "Why don't we do a story where Casper acts like a mean sonavabitch for a change?". You can be sure writer Larz Bourne, who was great writing wild "scared take" gags {"AAAAHHHH!! A GHOST!!!!"}, rose to the occasion with this one.......

When Casper turns into a little red devil he has a close resemblance to another Harvey character Hot Stuff the Tuff Little Devil. It's too bad that Harvey toons never did any Hot Stuff cartoons. Hot Stuff's fame is mostly in comic books and things like the Funko Hot Stuff "Wacky Wobbler" bobblehead.

You can say that again. I was forced to grow up with people like that, myself. To make a long story short, my graduating class from Caney Valley High School was just about the worst group of high school kids in all of Montgomery County, Kansas. That was the Class of 2008, by the way. I bet the worst of them haven’t changed at all.
