Hello, just sharing my experience about the Hat Man. When my father pass away, I was so broken and crying the whole day. The night fell and I still cry my heart out and fell asleep. That night after my father pass away, I've had a sleep paralysis. now it wasn't really big deal for me as i've already gotten used to it (Had it multiple times since i was a kid). so I thought "ugh, again?" but this time something showed up. it was a tall dark figure with a long coat with a hat(just like whats in the polaroid in this video) saw it from its head to its feet, it was wearing a formal pointed shoe base on its form. it was my first time seeing something during that state (I'm only hearing voices and things everytime I have sleep paralysis). It was standing at my doorway looking at my like it is smilling or laughing at me. It spoke something to me and i dont wanna hear it coz it might hunt me forever so while it was saying something, I am trying to get out of that state so I wasn't able to hear anything but i know it is speaking to me. After it said something, I heard it laugh and thats the only thing I heard about that thing. That's when I finally broke out of that state. It was really terrifying. Had another sleep paralysis in the following weeks but nothing showed up anymore, just my normal sleep paralysis (only hearing voices and things). since then I've been seeing videos about the hat man and been watching a lot of it as it really caught my attention and was a bit curious. Note: its my first time sharing it here, never talked about it to my family just only to 1 cousin of mine. this was a long read but thank you for those who read it and made it till the end. Anyways, keep safe everyone!

Stress and other similar emotions before you sleep, or waking up and sleeping again can drastically increase chances of sleep paralysis. So I suggest wearing sleeping masks, tea or hot milk before bed if you are having multiple episodes of sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis "demons" can be very stereotypical due to our pop culture similarities and what our brain can make up. My mother has had a hat man too, some dead looking military generals, etc. Mine is a lady in a dirty wedding dress, soaked with black fluid, the fluid comes from the 3 holes of her mouth and eyes like a bowling ball pouring black liquid out while screaming at me. Another sleep paralysis I had was some sort of cult chanting, while I was stabbed slowly dozens of times, it felt so real and It was the most painful experience of my life and it wasn't even real, I shattered my elbow before and that was a fraction of the pain I felt in comparison. If you are having trouble with it theres plenty of forums out there to help you, many sharing sleep paralysis experiences 100x worse.

I had a few sleep paralysis occurences. So terrifying. I'm 20 years old, yet I sleep with a night light, a rosary, and a dream catcher. About the hat man thing, my mom used to tell me I drew pictures of a stick man with a top hat throughout my childhood, and I used to say he was very tall.

Hi Ben. I want to share that cats are the guardians of the afterlife - this was said in Egypt. The way he stared at the invisible man in the hat shows that he communicates through eye contact and that he sees something that a person would not see, especially when the cat made a threatening appearance. This means that this is his territory, also the owner of the house. Cats are protectors, and are able to expel the essence. Especially if you have several sphinxes, there are breeds of cats that have a unique magical gift.
@BlickWinker
@BlickWinker 2 жыл бұрын
One of my cats like that. Once, his furry was up and he walked on his beans around and around. Jumped into the bed and looked into the middle of the room and stared at me peaking from the kitchen door. My cat kept looking back to and to something in the middle of my room. He just stared at it. Then, I told that something just to get out of my room. "It's not your place! Get out!"
@boogiewoogie5814
@boogiewoogie5814 2 жыл бұрын
@@BlickWinker Good afternoon. Well, usually you should not pay attention, spirits and ghosts feel the aura of a person, see, and if you are doing something else and start thinking about something ordinary, then they become uninterested in you. Well, they are not dead, they are alive, just their emotions are more pronounced, thereby affecting the environment, because their souls are in another dimension. When they try to make contact or try to move something, they also spend energy on it. In another world - they are also being tested, trying to survive, grow and learn, cultivate more energy. Then they either stay or move to another world. They may also dislike something, they need to be treated with respect, on an equal footing, you need to pay attention to it - pay attention to small details, maybe something is left in the house - some things belong to the spirit, it's worth giving or putting in the place where it was originally. Sometimes you need to learn to get along with each other. It is especially necessary not to feel fears, to have firmness in the fact that this is "my home", that "I already live here".

There was a missed “did you see it?” In the last clip, when the armed guys enter the second building, something really weird is crouched on the left side of the half wall. It creeps up closer as they move past. It has a ‘Face’ like a plague doctor.

Hello from Canada Ben! The part in this video where the woman gets punched to the ground is not paranormal. It has been debunked, the reason she was thrown to the ground was because of a wire that was hooked on a moving vehicle. She is lucky that her head didn't get sliced off! (sorry for being graphic) the reason I know this was debunked because it was on a tv show I watch called strange evidence! I just thought I would mention on here about that woman! BTW Thank you for always being yourself, and thank you for the great video's :) my daughter in law is now hooked on your video's like I am!

THE TAP! lmao I'm 10 years older than my brother so when he was a kid, I always got stuck baby sitting him. I amused myself by telling him ghost stories and then making the bathroom tap do exactly what we saw in the video. My parents bathroom, which shared the wall with the bathroom he was using, had a shut off valve that controlled the water for BOTH sinks. Babysitting nights, I would turn the water off and then go in and open the tap in the adjoining bathroom. All I had to do then was wait for him to enter the bathroom and I could create the haunting by manipulating the shut off valve next door. Made babysitting a breeze. Just the hint that I was considering locking him in the bathroom instantly made him behave.

Years ago I was sleeping in my sis bedroom with her and we both had the exact same dream of us walking in a wilderness plain at midnight we suddenly aproach some sort of cabin near a dry tree where we can see the Hatman walking right at us while whistling, swinging a machete to cut off the undergrowth on his path, when he finally made it near to us he rised his face and we saw his eyes, everything became pitch black and thousands of eyes like his appeared all around the darkness blinking fast followed by a heavy shrieking. We both woke up at the same time terrified, and until this day we are baffled about that experience

I watched the full video and the guy said the thing is attached to him. He said he was gone for like 2 weeks or so and not at the house and strange things were happening to him and when he was just walking in the woods or so, said strange things were happeing around him. I honeslty don't know if he's telling the truth with this whole hat man thing than it first started. Cause at the start his story seemed plausible and now it does feel stage like, but he could be telling the truth. With paranormal in general, who knows.

When he made that phone call i thought he did that saying that someone had come taken his cats while he went to a hotel, which if it is all true im glad he was thinking of the animals, but then later on he had the clip of his older cat being harassed on the couch, i thought they had been taken to a friends house, so its just a load of codswollop in my opinion!! Ive got cats and i can tell the one that got hassled was very old, at least in his late teens if not early 20's, the last thing he needs is his owner trying to make fake ghost videos by abusing an elderly cat that does not need that type of attention, its cruel!!! 99% of these ghost videos are fake in my opinion!!!

I went through a period after college where I was having sleep paralysis maybe once or twice a month for about a year. I saw all kinds of things. Never saw a hat man, but I did used to see shadow people come out of my closet and stand around my bed. It was goddamn terrifying. I thought my apartment was haunted, then thought I was losing my mind and went to a shrink. Turned out I had a sleep disorder that was easily fixed with medication. Haven't had it since.

Ben, keep it light with the hat man videos. I first met him back in 1962 and there was no such a thing as memes. All I did was try to protect my little brother from being frightened by this black figure with a black, wide brim fedora and black coat walking towards his crib. You know its him when you see his yellow eyes and teeth, all else is blacker than the darkest room. To make things short, the hat man and I sadly made eye contact, my little brother started screaming and my parents were of no help ... its all a dream they said. He follows you once you make contact, no shit, he shows up during times of chaos and despair in your life, sleep paralysis can be a trigger but not necessary. He can harm you physically very badly and will harm you psychologically. It took over 30 years to get rid of him and there isn't enough time to explain, but it can be done. I'm 63 now and have given up on trying to explain the danger folks can be in, I swear on the remainder of my life that I'm telling the truth and it is dire. Keep it humorous but never let it be nothing more than a meme. Luv ya mate ... and one last thing, I'm a retiring, successful professional computer engineer for the last 40 years with no history of myself or family mental health issues.

I get sleep paralysis every now and then. Luckily I haven't seen anything. I just wake up, can't move and can't make a sound. I always try to scream or do any noises at all, but all I can do is a quit "Hmmm" To me it feels like someone or something is right next to me, standing on the side of my bed or even laying next to me. I get these overwhelming goosebumps as if this "thing" next to me is only millimeters away from my skin and about to grab me. I mostly imagine it to be the Ring or the Grudge chick. It's terrifying, but I'm glad that I don't get these too often and they only last like 10-15 seconds until I finally wake up for real. Still feels like an eternity but I guess many people have way worse paralysis.

The only time I ever suffered sleep paralysis was in a haunted apartment I lived in. It happened numerous times. It was HORRIBLE. I thought I was going to have a heart attack as this horrific entity stood in my doorway and got closer and closer to me. I have never suffered this condition before it after that. However this entity attached to me, (it use to go back and forth between my apartment and the one downstairs from me, it was a 2 story complex) after it got my downstairs neighbor to give in to her INTENSE depression and she took her own life, on the eve of her daughter's 18th birthday. It caused my next 3 partners to suffer night terrors and sleep paralysis. It actually was only a few years ago I realized this thing was still with me it was with me for about 13 years. I ended up sort of, unofficially adopting, my neighbors daughter as a little sister whom I let stay with me from time to time until I introduced her to her long time partner whom she had 2 kids with.

@Harriet Bullock it really was. It was so wild when all the puzzle pieces fell onto place and we realized this was what had been going on. In 2007 my little brother Matthew passed away too, which I think the depression from losing him may have brought on the fibromyalgia. Around the next couple years after it attached to me I got really sick with all these chronic pain issues, and other health issues and doctors couldn't make sense of it. They always just told me I was too young to hand those issues. I ended up finding out I had arthritis in my lower spine/ degenerative disc disease o had to have spine surgery at age 34. They kept misdiagnosing me 3 months straight. Turned out I had a ruptured disc pressing on my sciatic nerve and I was bedridden but couldn't sleep coz of the pain. They neglect me and treat me like a drug seeker coz of how I look. Waiting one more month after 3 horrendous months of it was the worst I was ready to end it coz I couldn't stand the pain anymore. Then during prep for surgery they has to postpone for nearly another week coz it turned out that I have a hear murmur we were all previously unaware of. I had to have an echo (heart ultrasound) AND be under observation before they would operate. Turns out I've had an abnormal heart valve since I was about 6 when Scarlet fever tried to kill me. I ended up with permanent nerve damage coz of how long I suffered with it before surgery. I had a limp for 3 years which I worked SO hard to overcome!

Okay before I continue in the video... did anything happen to you during sleep paralysis, Ben? I had it once... definitely worst experience in my life. I heard footsteps across the room, heavy ones, walking towards my bed. My bed was behind a huge closet and I heard something coming through there. Like something went into the closet and through it onto my bed. And the worst was after that... I heard a very long and loud breath into my ear, almost like someone intentionally breathed into my ear from very close distance. To snap out of it and RAMBO IT I had to almost scream in the middle of the night... At the time I didn't know it was sleep paralysis, learned about it years later, but still just thinking about it... damn, I hate it.

😳 I recently had SP and there was a massive shadow figure at the foot of my bed. And by massive I mean like 12 feet tall with a pointed hat. I too screamed myself awake. Or at least enough to wake my husband, who might’ve woke me the rest of the way. It was horrifying and I’m terrified of it returning. So sorry you’ve had SP. it’s just dreadful. Wishing you the best from Kansas 🌻
@Phlexstone

I had this many times. You never get used to it but it happens only, when you suddenly wake up while your body is still in deep sleep mode (REM mode). You cannot even talk or do anything. It takes a few seconds till your body is fully working again since your brain thinks you are still asleep. This happens quite rarely but happens. Whoever experiences this the very first time will shit his pants. ;D

@@Phlexstone Exactly, mate. If you know what it is, it's quite more... well not easier :D But more understandable, I dunno. At the time I was definitely spooked and I wasn't able to fall asleep the rest of the night. I just wish everyone would know it can happen and how it happens so they could take it in easier than it was for me back then :D

Awesome video Ben! Aside from sleep paralysis I still recall that feeling last year when I am awaken at 2:30am and couldn't move a single inch like it felt someone is sitting on my whole body and sweating heavily the most scary part is I tried to scream or open my mouth but I couldn't it felt like I was tied down on the bed until I forced my body to move and starting swinging around. And did saw a huge shadow figure for a few seconds.

I tried to scream during my sleep paralysis too. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I saw this terrible shadow like entity and it would be in my doorway and slowly inch closer and closer till it was standing over me. I believe sleep paralysis is a side effect of a certain type of haunting. Coz nearly every one I've ever heard of occurring coincided with a haunting.

Finally, my day is complete with new video from Ben. Also, i dont get why people would even open their door knowing someone is knocking an dyet noone is around? You just let the entity in. It's just a common sense. Goodness.
@tawandatracee8327
@tawandatracee8327 2 жыл бұрын
Sadly, Common Sense isn't all that common. Although, in Sam's story, it already has access to the indoors, so it's just messing with him/driving him (& his Cats) mad with the repeated door knocking. I have no doubt that his cat's death, brought about from the black mass behind its eye, was a result of the stress that the entity caused to owner Sam as well as his beloved pets. Sam would at least get some time away from the home each day by going to work, unfortunately pets don't get that reprieve - they have to live with it 24/7 whether they want to or not. PLUS pet's cannot vocalize what is troubling them so badly. We as humans can share with others, "get it out" of our systems somewhat just talking with others helps somewhat, but again, pet's don't have that ability.

That first one was definitely fake, like an ARG or something. That last clip though I've seen before on Nuke's top 5 and I still don't even know how to explain that one. As Ben said, there are those very few videos that can't help but make you think about whether these sorts of things are real. For the most part I do believe some paranormal forces to be real, but for the most part many of these videos are faked or coincidences. Really is a shame when they are faked though.

My experience, a couple days after I lost a beloved relative, while alone mourning. This loss completely devastated, not only myself but our whole large family. I remember crying on my bed, just beyond consoling. I felt the bed being pushed down, as if someone had sat on it. Lifting my head off my pillow to see who had sat down. I couldn't breathe, it was my loved one sitting there staring at me. He just smiled at me, never said a word, and within seconds he left. I instantly felt so much love, and was filled with gratitude that he came to show me he was ok. You don't have to believe my experience, I understand. I know it happened and it's a moment I haven't questioned, just was so grateful to know he was ok. Love to all who have been through this, you are not alone ❤
