The grandpa of one of my classmates in highschool was a train conductor. No accidents his whole life, then, a week before his retirement: on Monday a tree fell on his train, Tuesday someone jumped in front of the train and their hand landed on grandpa's windshield (aparently wouldn't've noticed otherwise and took it quite well, actually). The train company gave him the rest of the week off, because they worried this streak would continue.
