Yes, a great performance by both. They were both one of a kind entertainers. My brother and I found her grave and left some flowers. Never got to see her perform live but have followed her since her M&P days back in 1966, when I was 16 years old.

@@rogersargent6453 that's amazing, I've seen videos on here were people have visited her grave and it was so sad seeing no flowers on her grave, thank you for doing that.
@rogersargent64533 жыл бұрын
@@3283stout I was so happy to do that! While we drove thru the cemetery looking for her grave, we had her music playing in the car. When we finally found the grave, Dream a Little Dream started playing. I took it as a sign from Cass saying “thank you”!! Call me crazy!!! Years ago, several of us from her on line site collected money and sent Owen a huge basket of flowers in memory of her mother’s 25th death anniversary. She was very appreciative of us doing that. She knows that many people loved her mom and her music made a difference in many of our lives. Cass was truly a blessing to many of us!!!

@@rogersargent6453 that is so awesome, If ever you do that again , I would love to contribute, I never met Cass but I don't know what it is,everytime I listen to her music or think about her I feel this connection that overwhelms me and I will cry like a baby. She was just a blessing. I feel the same way about Johnny Cash.

@@3283stout I think we are all spiritual beings and we are here on this earth to learn to love and help other people. Cass was a special talented lady who brought a lot of joy to many people. One of the things I hope about the afterlife is we will be able to meet those people who had a powerful influence on our lives. Cass’ gift was to touch others people’s lives thru her music and kindness. She knew how to be kind due to her being mistreated due to her weight issue.

This duet is much better than the one with Tom Jones. Tom's voice is much stronger than Cass'. While Johnny's is baritone it's vulnerable, so makes a better match. Plus I like the songs better.
