Cass review ‘relevant internationally’ after rejecting prescribing puberty blockers for kids

Gender Clinic News’ Bernard Lane says the Cass review is “relevant internationally” after it rejected prescribing children puberty blockers to treat their gender dysphoria.
Dr Hilary Cass conducted a review into the effects of prescribing children blockers and hormones, and the review is set to shift how the NHS cares for minors with gender dysphoria.
“What has happened is that the gender clinics have introduced treatments - puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones as routine before they had good evidence showing that the benefits outweigh the risks,” Mr Lane told Sky News Australia host Peta Credlin.
“When you recognise the reality of that situation - that children are being given experimental interventions, what do you do?
“This is the question that Hillary Cass is trying to answer.”

Neither can you drive a car or get married etc No child has the maturity to make such an enormous life changing decision. All children should be taught to love themselves, embrace the fact they are a tomboy or an effeminate boy as this is normal and time may change these attributes. I just received an email from MP Mr Dimipolos declaring that the Health department has "no definition of what de-transition is" Um, as parents we were told that puberty blockers we 100% reversible - in order to give the child time to see if the small number of childhood gender dysphoria persists into adulthood. It has been know since last century that the majority of children grown out it. For the Health department to never investigate "de-trantioning", ever, is akin to medical malpractice. The Health department also hide the side effect of puberty blocker. Why did the RCH take sperm samples to store if they didnt expect my child would be chemically castrated?

Some sanity at last. My son was disciplined for apparently being transphobic and homophobic when he was 11! At primary school - this was because a girl was identifying as male, without her parents knowledge and she asked my son “do you support trans rights? And my son said no and walked off. She told on him, he was called into headmasters office, I was called. Thankfully my son was able to articulate himself as to why he said no and it was not in response to her question it was the fact that he had no idea what she meant and she was following him around the playground asking again and again and again and he was saying nothing as he didn’t know what to say. In the end he just chose “no” and walked off because he was annoyed she was pestering him when all he wanted to do was play football. I was livid with the school, asked the school if they had contacted that girls parents and informed them of her “social transition” as I was concerned where she was getting the information to make such a huge declaration about changing gender at 11. My son also said I know what homophobia is and how can you accuse me of that given my older sister is engaged to a woman and my uncle is gay. They ended up having to back down but my son did not get an apology.

those who participated in these treatments--whether it be medications/hormones or surgery, have to face the idea that they did great harm. They are more likely, many of them, to double down rather than acknowledge the appalling harm they participated in. I think it is going to be a hard sell for many doctors, nurses, social workers, teachers and parents. An unfortunate side effect of ideological capture.

What is clear is that totally unqualified people, mainly men who want to identify as women had managed to infuence the NHS into doing their bidding in terms of the medical interventions done to these children.
