ikr like i don’t know if it’s even possible to capture all of the true emotions and scenes of the books in a show if that makes sense?? usually tv adaptions cut down on scenes for length and i feel like if they cut anything out it wouldn’t be as good... and also i don’t think whatever cast they choose will do justice to will, tessa and jem

Ikr and no cast can ever be good enough for our characters. The TMI movie and Shadowhunters Show did an amazing job but nothing can compare to the books cuz no actor can ever show the happiness, the pain, the sorrow, the confusion and the plot twists in their face without giving away too little or too much

Y'all wanna hate on her weight when none of you have even read her books, or probably don't read at all. I also bet none of you actually watch the video itself. While actual intellects do not judge people's work based on their looks and please tell me something successful and of you people who are hating her have done that has made you worthy to say anything like that.Oh that's right nothing, she is actually doing something productive with her life and has written books that have helped people get through many problems in their lives, myself included. She actually uses her mind for things other than hating on people. And if you don't care about the video, don't click on it it's that simple yet people think it is so hard.

I don't have a problem with her weight, but I do find her incest fetish and plagiarism tendencies disgusting. It's kinda stupid judging someone for their weight when they, as adults, literally write sexual romance between teenagers and get off on the idea of incest.
@miaheffernan1676
@miaheffernan1676 4 жыл бұрын
@@ayladonson8627 the "plagiarism tendencies" accusations come from her time as a fanfiction writer when she used quotes from her favourite TV series, films or books as part of a "spot the quote" game she was playing with her fans. Also, the "incest fetish" thing isn't an accurate way to describe it. She merely created a couple who had to go through a lot before they could end up together (SPOILERS AHEAD) and Jace and Clary aren't actually brother and sister so it's not actually incest. Also, she doesn't "get off" on sexual romance between teenagers - that's a thing that exists in every YA book because it's a genre for Young Adults and Teens who like to read romance.
@ayladonson8627
@ayladonson8627 4 жыл бұрын
@@miaheffernan1676 first of all, the dark hunters thing isn't about fanfiction. Even though the whole thing is a mess, it's still worth mentioning. And even then, with the fanfic copy pasting she often never gave credit. She actually wrote a fanfic about Ron/Ginny (actual siblings) called The Mortal Instruments. Sounds familiar? That's not plagiarism because she thought of it but the incest thing though... And about Jace and Clary, they make out while they think they're brother and sister. And I don't see lot of reasons to make them believe they are in the first place unless you like it. And if that wasn't enough, there's also the Sebastian thing. Yikes. If you honestly think someone just keeps writing about incest because it's just for the plot, im sorry but you're a little delusional.
@haniahmed9398
@haniahmed9398 4 жыл бұрын
Ayla Donson I ABSOLUTELY agree with you and I’m a big fan of her books. This is exactly why the mortal instruments is my least favorite series of hers. Clary and Jace wholeheartedly believed they were siblings and they still wanted to pursue a (sexual) relationship. You can love an author and still admit their flaws. I usually separate the author from the art.

@ayladonson8627
@ayladonson8627 4 жыл бұрын
@@ElizabethNicoleSchwartz so I guess the Ginny/ron fanfic she wrote that happens to be titled "The mortal instruments" never happened? Clare got off on the idea of forbidden romance between siblings. She found all this "it's wrong we shouldn't but I want to" entertaining and endearing. That's disgusting.

I watched the Series on Netflix about 1 month ago. I really like fantasy stories. I was reading Dragon Age stories. So I decided to read all the ShadowHunters book series. Now I can see books are much more lovely to read and imagine the World. I am surprised how the Online Series has been completed in 3 seasons while there are 6 books to feel the Story. Too many changes in the Online Series. I'm guessing maybe someday they will remake the Series. Until I keep reading the books 😇
