I feel like not even Dr. Dray has done a good job talking about the bathing issue. Obviously if you haven't worked out or have sweat throughout the day, there is no need to soap up your arms or legs, or torso. HOWEVER regardless of any of that, or of how cold it might be outside, I still believe a person should at least wash their private parts everyday. When I went back to the states a few years ago and realized that there are people who go days in the winter without even doing THAT, I was incredibly grossed out.

I dont understand why so many people these days dont have a bidet or use a hose everytime they go use the toilet..this is what's gross mate and needs to change. Like just using tissue don't wipe your poo or piss off your arse and private parts:/ ofc ways private parts like your armpit and down there everyday but if your literally sitting at home doing nothing no workout or sweat or odour, there's really no need to shower your entire body. But seriously showering depends on your lifestyle everyones different some need to shower everyday due to sweat, odour and or conditions they have, some people dont have to bathe every single day. Just make sure to properly clean your downstairs and pits please😂

Dude I'm European. I shower 2 times a week in winter, 3 times a week in summer. I don't sweat, smell, or anything :/ When I was a kid, my parents bathed my brother and me once a week, on a sunday night. I wash my hair twice a week, although when I don't need to go out, I try to push it to once a week. My hair has been extremely healthy my whole life, same goes for my skin. You're not supposed to shower every day. And if you do, make sure to use only water then, without soap at least.

Funny enough about 2 years ago I went through this things Cassandra is experiencing. I got crazy skin reactions namely a crazy contact dermatitis on my face (it was horrible) and many skin reactions and yes, my hair started to fall. I was then diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia :( all of this started not long after I stopped BC and many things I still can't understand. All it taught me was how much woman health is neglected and no doctor REALLY looks into it unless you ask (risk of being called hypochondriac). Hormones or something else still no one gives a damn and us women suffer everyday without understand why.

I have naturally curly hair and only need to wash it once a week. It's frustrating the amount of people who tell me I'm dirty or it's gross. Even though they had just told me how cute my hair looked on day five of not washing. For my skins needs I wash my face every night but not in the morning and while I will get in the shower and rinse with water, washing some areas with soap, I only wash my whole body with soap once a week. If I do anymore than that my skin gets dry and cracked and itchy and no amount of lotion can fix it. I have family and friends who think it's gross. But my dermatologist says my skin is amazing and super healthy. So I think her opinion is the one that matters. The only people pushing the idea that you need to wash with soap every day are companies that sell you products.... I wonder why they want you to think that.

It says that it’s “organic, vegan and “clean beauty”(whatever that means)” The ingredients list is fairly short(on some of them), and looks good to me(I’ve no idea what 99% of them actually are) I’m not an expert at all! But I would love to know if it is any good? I know you’re an expert in all these different ingredients, what they do and if they are beneficial for the skin or not. So my request would be, for you to perhaps look into this brand if you’d like? and maybe tell us if it’s any good?? Would love to know your opinion on these! I agree with everything here. I did consider microneelding at home, but after less than 1 hour of research gave up on that idea. My first issue was proper hygiene at home, secondly I found out there are risks if you do it wrong, so no thanks to that. Can I just say that suing (or even considering it) you for critizing proper hygiene during a skin care treatment is absurd. My firts thought was no, no. Besides having long nails in any medical field is actually a potential hygiene hazard, exactly because they puncture gloves easily.

But if you spend the day sitting at a desk, cooking, etc you probably just need what my Mom called a “birdbath” - washcloth with soap covering underarms, privates, and feet. My Mom would say “If you stink-that is probably why.” I fought her and showered twice a day for years. My son says “Nuts, butts, and pits. I was strictly vegan for 2 year and I experienced hair loss and dry, brittle hair. When the pandemic hit, I got lazy and dropped my vegan ways. My hair grew back and is full and healthy once again. I have no idea why or if it’s a coincidence. But just sharing my experience.

It's definitely because you ate meat.

I was a vegetarian for about six years, in my late teens/early twenties. When I started eating meat again, within about two months I had lost ten pounds, had better skin and hair, and had more energy/felt better.

I've been eating vegetarian for about 2 years but I could never be vegan -- at least, not without speaking to a GP beforehand. People can be very healthy and vegan, but with the time I have and my eating habits it would be hard for me

How do you feel about Florence by mills? Because I feel like she has a celebrity line that actually has a fair line up.

Is that a skin care line? It sounds so pretty. Like some old british novel about the countryside.
