Kim should've released a whole line for psoriasis since she has suffered with it for so many years. I think it wld have been received way better and gotten almost zero criticism.

When have the Kardashian avoided criticism though. Uh, no, psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, similar to eczema. Firstly, it's illegal to sell products claiming to cure medical conditions unless the products contain a drug proven to treat it. The only difference between this brand and Kylie Skin is who it's being marketed to. Kylie Skin targets a younger audience and Kim is targeting an older audience (who presumably has more $$$). I doubt ingredient wise, this will be much different than Kylie Skin. I will give her credit for at least trying to be sustainable with refills. HA and Vitamin C are nice, but there are a LOT of products out there with those ingredients. It's basic and nothing revolutionary. If the vitamin c product is good and stable, MAYBE it might be worth it. But there's some other vitamin c products that are pretty good and affordable. It's just another cash grab, but I'm hoping people know that at this point. Anything the Kar-Jenners release at this point is a cash grab. Needless to say, I won't be buying this. $600 on good skincare is unnecessary. Spend 1/10 of that and spend the rest on visits to aestheticians and dermatologists and you’ll have way better results. If you want to spend a lot on your skincare products, you can afford it, and you enjoy it, then go off. But for 99% of people, it’s not reasonable, and if you’re a results driven person, it’s not logical. I bet you it's also a bid to stay relevant and in the media. Because skincare is trendier than makeup right now, it's probably much less about the customers and far more about coming out with a product that's designed to flex. She could have introduced this line quietly to people who could afford it, but she chose to really broadcast it to people who couldn't and would have these kinds of critiques, so I think it's a way of keeping the narrative on herself.

I recently watched a video commenting on how Kylie Cosmetics has fallen out of favor in recent years, and the person who did the review also commented on how bad and shitty the packaging is. (It appears as though they kept the hideous dripping lipstick lips and merely changed the packaging to Millenial pink.) It is my assumption that Kylie and Kim think their names alone will sell the product and that they don't need to spend much, if any, time fussing over the branding of their cosmetics. (Meanwhile, celebrity cosmetics brands Rare Beauty and Fenty Beauty have absolutely gorgeous packaging that feel crisp, clean, modern, and beautifully reflect the celebrities who founded the brand.)

As someone who has suffered with psoriasis I would NEVER spend $600+ on a skincare line that could potentially go down the drain just from a dramatic change. I always have to introduce products one at a time so I know which one has cause a flare up, less is better. With the amount of people that suffer she could make a lot of $$$$ marketing to psoriasis sufferers. Extremely unpopular option but I always get 1 hour of sun before 10am and sunscreen to hold up vitamin D otherwise I have a flare up. As Kim said it "selfish to not share information" even if the info is wrong hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 I'm most likely wrong but the benefit outweighs the risk for me personally.

I’m with you on the calculated sun exposure. Even as a melanoma survivor. At one point my body was covered with 80% plaque psoriasis. I’ve tried all kinds of RX topicals even Humira injections. My skin cleared up the most (without any RX) by avoiding inflammatory foods (dairy, processed sugar, etc.), calculated sun exposure like you said, GENTLY exfoliating with a sugar scrub, keeping it soothed and hydrated, taking vit c and k2+d3 supplements, drinking lots of water, keeping stress levels as low as possible. My skin was 100% clear before I went through a series of extremely traumatic events. I’m recovering from those events and my skin is on its way to being clear again. It’s such a difficult balance but it’s possible and I’m praying I get to being clear again at some point. Guess I needed to vent lol but I mainly just wanted to say to you that I know others might disagree but even having had a freakishly rare and aggressive form of melanoma I still believe in calculated sun exposure for the psoriasis and of course it’s got other benefits but I’m sure you know this. Have you noticed anything else that helps your psoriasis? May I ask how long you’ve been battling it? About 10 years for me now 🫤 Only cleared up 100% once for a few months before that string of traumatic events.

@@originaldana thankyou for sharing your story, I have plaque psoriasis of the scalp (eyebrows, armpits, pubes, anywhere there's hair) so getting rid of most of the hair on my body helps. I've had it as long as I can remember, classmates at the age of 5 asking me about it before I had the vocabulary to explain. It cleared up to about 5-10% around the age of 19, I was living a pretty stress free life, job of my dreams, then it all flared up again 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Stress. It will get better when I'm allowed to go back to work. I am greatful you've survived melanoma, I believe we evolved on this earth under the sun so it's light has benefits to us, like anything in moderation. I'm 30 now, it has flared up worse in the past week (winter here in Tasmania so we've just had the shortest day of the year and very little sunshine) so I've redone my undercut and made some more of my 6 ingredient body butter. I think the biggest thing that helps me is remembering I have done all that I can, and will do all I can to make myself comfortable and healthy. Unstress. My partner has recently started skyrizi injections, like you he has plaque psoriasis. When he first started on them he was 95% covered and had been that way since he was about 18. Now when he goes to the dermatologist they struggle to find some!!! I can't believe the medical breakthrough they've had with this one! 😁😁 it makes me so happy, he says this is as close the cured as you can get. I am greatful the medical system we have in Australia because we wouldn't be able to afford the $5000 dollar injections, he failed a lot of trials getting to that point. I adore your resilience to keep going and be able to find peace with your traumatic events so you can be the healthiest you possible. You never know when a medical breakthrough might help your journey. Oh and not drinking alcohol or eating greasy MSG foods, taste gross to me anyway haha. Thankyou again, It's so good to remember I'm not alone. Psoriasis is something that isn't talked about much considering the amount of people that are diagnosed.

@@veronikavolition6395 ooo you can be allergic to the sun. My mum is ironically, has to have supplements because she can't get out in the sun. She has lupus which causes hers, a genetic autoimmune disorder, which is probably the reason for my psoriasis. Like their makeup they are also now trying to sexualise skincare too. As you rightly point out she has makeup on throughout. The best makeup possible no doubt due to the team around her.
