Madelaine’s skin is beautiful. My grandmother put her face in a really cold water almost everyday and she had the most beautiful skin ever. She died when she was 87 And she was proud of her skin until her last day.

@@Emilia497 so then wouldn't you have to moisturize it?? Most oily skin is natural and not necessarily caused by dry skin (you're describing more the process combination skin goes through). Regardless, all skin types benefit from moisturizing. You said "you don't have to moisturize if you don't have dry skin, not that you don't have to moisturize if you have oily skin". Now you said oily skin is caused by dry skin. And in that comment you said if you don't have dry skin (which you meant you do have to moisturize if you do have dry skin) and then you said you didn't mean oily skin.....just confused. could be a double negative grammatical error on your part or a misunderstanding on our part? Can you clarify?
@skinsciencebymira
@skinsciencebymira 4 жыл бұрын
DrSnape dry skin is typically caused by a lipid depletion.... someone oily isn’t also dry, those are two different skin types and you can’t be both oily and lacking oils unless you’re combo. You can definitely be both oily and dehydrated though and have impaired skin barrier function. Excess oil production is primarily caused by hormones, not external factors.

I can relate. Been always have acne and acne scars from early teen till now (22), had massive breakouts which leaves me all red. For the last 3 years I have been patiently looking and trying out products that might work one by one, as budget allows, and keeping up a skin diary (TroveSkin). I can see improvements now although I can only afford the basics (cleanser and moisturizer). Although I still get acnes and scars and my skin texture is still kinda rough, it soothes me that even with strict budget and patience I can get healthier, better skin. So... Don't give up and good luck peeps!

@@nanwijanarko1969 same here. I only have a basic cleanser and moisturiser. I've been wearing makeup to cover my crappy skin since I was 15. I'm 21 now, and I've had enough. Enough of the heaviness, the oil, the vicious cycle of breakouts. Taking advantage of this Covid-19 isolation period. I haven't worn makeup for a week now, and I'm drinking loads more water. My skin is starting to look better already, it can breathe and heal, and I swear I'm determined to get clear skin for once and for all. I believe it has been a combination of stress, makeup, hormones, genetics poor diet and dehydration that my skin has been so bad but I'm working so hard to rectify it now and look after myself better cus I can't afford 38 different products 😂🤦‍♀️

@CassandraBankson
@CassandraBankson 5 жыл бұрын
Taurus Brit 18:05 May answer that ;) Also excellent question about sunscreen and moisturizer! The truth is, mini sunscreens have ingredients that are moisturizing, and for those who don’t have specific skin issues, a sunscreen can double as a moisturizer. Some people put their sunscreen on before the moisturizer because it has a better chance to soak into the skin. If you are using a chemical sunscreen, there’s nothing wrong with doing this and using a moisturizer to lock everything in. However, if you are using a physical sunscreen, it is best to use it as the last layer as long as you are making sure to apply it evenly throughout the entire face. I hope this helps, and I appreciate you being here!

I tried moisturizer alone and wasn't happy with the result, I tried a heavier eye cream and wasn't impressed but what I find helps me is a light gel-like eye cream. No. Diet won't fix your skin. A lot of people get skin problems stemming from hormonal issues, environment, allergies, or any kind of health issues, as there are so many and everyone is very different. Eating well can help in some cases, but it's important to go get a proper consultation with a dermatologist who is a medical specialist instead of a random KZbin commenter who generalises a statement they've heard once and apply it to everyone in the world, which makes people feel bad if adopting a good diet hasn't fixed their skin. I took a sleeping pill ( insomnia issues) and I found your videos reacting to celebs skincare. Not even the pill is working. I can't stop

This reaction is SO GOOD! I learnt so much! I'm a big advocate for sunscreen as well ❤️ but I apply it after my moisturizer. Much love from Argentina!

The machine works. There is an old white lady who uses it and it makes her look so much younger. The effects last about 12 hours though

What does it do
@UdoADHD
@UdoADHD 4 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Gomez Lobo it removes wrinkles and sagging by making the skin tight
@vividneon
@vividneon 4 жыл бұрын
@@jennifer7022 it contracts the muscle and acts like a little work out for your face. The result is tighter skin, but the effects are temporary, although over time it may help the skin look tighter by "working out" those muscles under the skin.

@Emma Santos it's called microcurrent. The actual brand of the device that she's using is the NuFace
@debSGSS
@debSGSS 4 жыл бұрын
@@vividneon It does not work like that at all. Microcurrent is not the same as the type of devices that tone the muscles. Microcurrent works at the cellular level as Cassandra explained. It increases cellular energy (ATP) and can stimulate collagen in the dermis.

This might of been said already but red heads and sometimes blonds often have skin that will get red if it's touched even lightly. I deal with that and everyone's like what happened to your face!? Me: I don't know. I just touched it.

Can you talk about maybe the early causes of wrinkles like when you’re around 17-18 to early 20’s ? I can’t find any answers :(

Avoid staying in the sun for too long, always put sunscreen on even when you're staying home and drink a lot of water to hydrate your skin.

Bunny Baby Sun is a definite but also repeated facial movements. Squinting Frowning Raising your eyebrows a lot (especially while doing makeup) Pulling downward on your facial skin Rubbing your eyes or pulling the skin around the eyes The Japanese have it right when they "cup" and gently pat their products into their skin. Also look up facial massage as well.
