I do the same as you -- hot shower, but crank that water down to lukewarm/slightly cool for the face, and the peeling has essentially stopped. do you have a recomended teen skincare routine? I am still waiting for dermatologist appointment but I would just like a few suggestions for my crazy dehydrated bumby red and sensitive face until then. Ily
@eduardaarrais3 жыл бұрын
Go for something simple and gentle ☺️ there's a lot of ways to create a good routine for you, mostly just experimenting. You could try: if you have bumby acne skin, try a cleanser with salicylic acid. Toners are not extremely necessary but they can also do a great job soothing your skin - my personal recommendation for toner would be rose water. Then get yourself a vitamin c and some moisturizer that's not too thick but has tons of water. When I was a teen (I'm 22 now) I would apply aloe Vera as well, since it moisturizes and helps with scarring (same as the rose water), and I would make sure to keep my face slightly damp when applying my products to increase water absorption - please note that some products must be applied to dry skin. If you have a lot of acne and want to go deeper on your exfoliating game, get yourself some chemical exfoliant. You can use it in combination with the cleanser, just not everyday. Go slow and start with a more gentle acid, such as madelic acid. As for brands, just see what's available in your country and check reviews online.
@AofSpade3 жыл бұрын
For an extremely simple routine I’d recommend a gentle cleaner (Cetaphil is what I use right now); a non-alcohol toner, maybe with niacinamide to help with your bumps (good molecules makes one), a niacinamide serum, a serum directed for acne maybe, and then a simple moisturizer 🤷🏾♀️
@ShiiFT123 жыл бұрын
Why does Harper's Bazaar use skin filter?? Not only does it suck because we are not being shown how their skin truly is, but I've seen viewers often comment about the people in these routines being dishonest, rather than considering the fact that *someone else* put the filter in.
