We call this "bankye kaaklo" in Ghana. We eat it with coconut too. A very popular Ghanaian street snack and it's so yummy. We grate the cassava,squeeze out the juice,add salt,onions and fry. We don't add pepper to ours and we don't leave ours overnight. We fry ours with vegetable oil.Guys trust me it's super crunchy and delicious. I love it so much. Welldone sis 👏👍

Omg, I used to buy this anytime I go to the market to buy foodstuff back home, we called it Akara jiapu, I don't joke with it at all, very crunchy and yummy. I prefer the first method with palm oil, cos that was the one we usually eat with coconut at that time. Thanks for sharing, sis.

I was searching for how to make this akara jiapu bcos it was my best snacks growing up and i guess you're the only channel who made such a video.
