One improvement over the original Japanese version, the song A Path. In the Japanese version the English lyrics make no sense. The vocal and wording in the English dub have been redone and it's a vast improvement. I have to say though, Casshern's final scream is scarier in the Japanese version.

It was a substance released in the atmosphere wich was the result of Casshern and Luna's blood mixing.
@LightAndDarkMdness022 жыл бұрын
When Casshern killed Luna, their blood mixed and released something into the atmosphere which caused Ruin to take hold of the world. It is unclear if humans are affected by Ruin, but it seems like they are so it doesn't just attack robots. Ruin also affects plants from what we can see. Luna and Casshern's blood are capable of granting immortality and stopping the Ruin's effect on one's body (which is why Friender doesn't rust). Luna's blood can heal Ruin as well, but it appears only to a certain extent and within a certain time frame. Her blood also doesn't seem to stop ruin in cyborgs like Dio and Lada. So, by the end of the series Luna's healing is capable of stopping ruin for some people, and granting them eternal life so they can survive. Casshern doesn't consider that living however, because life without end is just a continuing strand of existence. For something to appreciate life it has to be consciously aware of Death, so Casshern in the end decides that he will be death for the Immortal robots and humans created by Luna. If they ever forget death and the ruin, Casshern will return to remind them essentially. Edit: Some robots stave off Ruin better than others. It is possible that Ruin affects those with strong conviction and willpower slower, which is why some showed little signs of rust all the way up to the end of the series. Think of it like Hollowing in Dark Souls.

Luna is the religion: the fake immortality, Casshern is the rational man who kill god (luna) and the idea of the immortalty(Nietsche cit.), at the end wisely Casshern decide to let those who need it believe in the immortality of religion, even if it is a lie. This is a plot about atheism.
@Old_Hickory_Jackson4 жыл бұрын
Basically Casshern killed Luna before so Luna becomes a bitch hypocrite after she becomes alive again.
@D.AblosFamilia3 жыл бұрын
They are forever interwined due to Casshern's Sin of Murdering Luna. Luna is the immortal (she can regenerate too) embodiment of the World, caring and loving, capable of granting healing and eternal life. Her blood mixing with Casshern's corrupted her, making her flawed by granting her selfish and vindictive traits. Casshern is a weapon, he was designed to kill without a will of his own. Upon Luna's blood mixing with his, he gained her immortality as well as regenerative abilities, while also being able to heal others and grant them immortality too, but at the cost of giving his blood and flesh (Friender ate it and became immortal too) unlike Luna who did not have to sacrifice herself to do so. In addition, Casshern became capable of loving and caring for others, able to feel regret and many more emotions, something a weapon could not do (Dio and Leda were more human than he was when they were built). But both represent things. Luna is still a source of life, the embodiment of the planet, meant to generate it. Casshern wants to enforce that on Luna despite her corruption, because he is a weapon, even despite being more human, he has to take lives, there is no other purpose to his existence.
@desmondtimberwolf44193 жыл бұрын
Idk. But I always liked the idea of Casshern allowing Luna to make everyone immortal so they would get a second chance of living having now understood death so they can live more fully. Only for casshern to hunt them all down in a few decades as the grim reaper bringing their life to an end, granting them death so their life had true meaning. Luna was the corruption of the sacredcy of life by granting immortality and casshern was the man-made solution, the sacredcy of death. One corruption balancing another.

Let Yamauchi direct it, keep Umakoshi on the designs and storyboard and have an actual competent team for the weekly episodes (something Toei clearly didnt do for Omega).
