I agree. One cannot compare Naruto to Casshern because they are very different. Casshern Sins is not based on action. It is slower pased and is focused on the circumstances of a destroyed world where the people are inflicted by the ruin. It is a philosophical tale of a very complex main character who does not know how to repent for the chaos he had brought. The action scenes are only used to depict the power of the main characters. The only challenge to him is himself. It is unique and amazing!

I'm obviously a big fan of the show, but it's more than just the fighting. There's a deeper story here that other shows can't compare to and a morale issue. Is immortality actually life? Those who will eventually die end up living more through their struggles than those who'll go on forever in complacency.

I think that most people watch this show and click through it and do not appreciate that it s not a mindless anime shonen. It holds up a mirror to you and gives you introspection. I hate that some people cant appreciate that casshern sins is a masterpiece with intentional open ends. Its like making a gourmet dish and feeding it to a dog

It's not an anime for everyone. ie: there is essentially no plot right? The plot is Casshern killed luna, now he's a sad amnesia boy. So that's the obvious weak spot of the anime. But if you can look past that, you get an anime that focuses heavily on writing cool unique characters, has top notch ost music/voice acting, incredible world building, and lore building, and very stylish Art and good fights. I think calling it a masterpiece is a bit of a stretch, because it certainly has room for improvement, if they cut back cassherns screen time a bit, focused a little more on side characters, it coulda been a masterpiece. It's still good for what it is. Tldr: well written characters and world building can patch plotholes. sad amnesia boy 7/10 would watch again.

If you are referring to those gun-like things, they are jet thrusters I believe. Strangely though, given how I vaguely recall them being thrusters, I remember Casshern only using them once throughout the entire series.

Casshern holds a huge resemblance to Seiya in his looks, his brown hair matches that of Seiya, his facial expression, and along with his eyes. I can tell this anime design was based on that of Saint Seiya. Also Naruto can probably move as fast as these guys can, he's already on par with the raikage in speed and even the Raikage stated he is as fast as his brother. Naruto at the moment can beat Casshern, Naruto practically set an entire field of mountains to waste.
