Agreed. Cube went in on No Vas. He talked about putting bullets in devil's temples, the villain (MC Ren) getting F'd. Burning people's jerry curls (lol). That wasn't no weak, passive diss. Anything said about the person (as opposed to just the business side of things), is personal. So while Hit'em Up was VERY personal, No Vas didn't just focus on the business side of things either.

I always knew Cassidy was lyrical and a battle rapper. Will battle anyone. But what I didn't know, but quickly learning in these interviews, is that he is a true student of the game and not a hater. He keep it a buck at all times. Scarface is one of the greatest that doesn't get enough credit. X said he was his favorite rapper. And Cas right about Hit Em Hit. Cube just hatin. You can't go too far in war. It's impossible. Because it's war! Pac had just got popped, didn't fully know all the details. Who Shot Ya comes out, he's in prison for a false rape charge. Nah, that song could've been worse and still not too far in Pac eyes or his homies or fans eyes. 👏🏾 to Cassidy for being real when being fake is so easy, acceptable and prevalent nowadays!

2Pac is being hated upon because even in his absence, like 28 years from his death, his brand keeps growing and his influence remains great. He remains more relevant than his haters. To prove my point, I am writing this from Botswana 🇧🇼 and his music remains popular out here. In the 90s, there was no social media. Basically, 2Pac never really needed the power of social media to be heard or to prove his relevance. Now imagine if we had social media in the 90s. RIP Makaveli 😢 🎶

When Pac dissed an East Coast artist, many of them banded together and began to talk on interviews or subliminals and throw shade. The only ones who mentioned him by name were Mobb deep and Chino XL. Even Chino said it came out wrong and Pac took it wrong. So Mobb Deep were the only ones who actually fired a diss back while he was alive. People may not agree with me but I always think about this? Do people know why Hit Em Up was created? One of the fueling factors for hit em up is rumors of being raped in jail. People playing with Pac like he was sweet for it assinating his character I remember Pac had did a interview and it is In His Own words with Sway. He explained how angry that made him the level of disrespect, having children write to him while he was fastly accused of sexual assault "groping" and was incarcerated he explained how pissed off yhat made him to have children wrire him letters saying im sorry yhst happen ti you etc. Pac sais what do you do expect for me to do when some one disrespects your manhood like that how did people really expect Pac to act when got out after all the slander, rumors and actions made to complete assinate his character and everything he worked for with ambitons tonsoley feed and protect his family.

The original version was done right after his release. I'm pretty sure one of the outlawz said they planned that in jail. Also, Pac doesn't go directly at the people that shot/set him up him in this song. He does that in Against All Odds. What people don't understand is not only was Pac hurt by his love for Biggie, everyone opening their mouth and taking shots at him while he was locked down, BUT, he knew that Jimmy and Jack were extorting Badboy and trying to use Badboy as a vehicle to legitimise themsselves in the buissiness, so Pac simply intended to "destroy everything you touch". He was going to destroy their meal ticket. Then later he obviously decided he was going to name drop those who actually did it in Against All Odds.

Your an id!ot if you feel that it's no such thing as going to far so it's okay if your a rapper and your battling a guy and he talks about your dead son who died of Cancer so your saying that is okay or if you had a wife who died of Cancer and he is talking about your wife who died of Cancer literally making up a rap about her dying of Cancer so your saying that is not to far I can't wait to hear this answer

there's limits. if it gets too personal. imagine you gotta son or daughter with cancer or some shit and a rapper started laughin about it sayin he glad she got that cancer shit? how you finna feel about that? aint somethin a lot people could brush off. i;mma be honest when i heard pac dissin prodigy about the sickle cell it hit a nerve and because of that i felt glad when pac got smoked.

@@jbmdvdjbmdvd6432 coincidentally enough the song is called "Scarface".... The way Mr Scarface tells it, that song became so popular he changed his rap name from DJ action to Scarface because the fans kept calling him that based off that song! (The song is on the geto boys album in 1989)

Cube was just hating on Pac, as usual because he knew Pac took the throne from his ass, on the "Westside"; Ice T a mark too, I tell you what. Them California brothers are unloyal, to the hightest power and im from Inglewood 💯
