Yes women typically like older men and men typically like younger women but the average age gap between couples is less then 3 years. My partner and I have a 4 year age gap. I’m 29 he is 33. I’m a younger woman, he is an older man technically. But mentally we are within a decent range. When we have kids my fiancé would be DAMNED if we let a 40 year old pervert try to get with our 18 year old daughter. 18 naive and doesn’t know anything about the world with a 40 year old creep is not ok and raises many red flags. EDIT Also I want to point out that as much as redpill men like to site that super young women and super old men “work” the divorce rate for couples with a 10+ year age gap is 70%.
