I believe all alleged victim should be listened to but I WILL NOT believe all. My brother went through a nasty divorce years ago where his ex screamed abuse trying to get everything. She however confessed that she was lying after the kids wouldn't back her story up. My brother lost several prominent clients during his divorce being a well-known contractor in his town.

So there's a 5-year statute of limitation on domestic abuse in California. Basically you can domestically abuse anyone you want, so long as they don't report it within 5 years. Thanks, California. 🤷‍♂️ Also, clearly when she settled, probably it was written in she couldn't speak about the abuse until the statute of limitation was up... The fact that she got paid and he can't get prosecuted was all worked out already.
