Day 3 out of 2 MONTHS! We are attempting the LONGEST JOURNEY BY TOY CAR. We have to drive toy cars from Jacksonville FL to Key West. This will take two months of driving a toy car every single day! So there’s two things we have to do to complete the record.. one is hit the mileage but that’s not enough on its own.. we also have to make it to the finish line in key west.. so the miles count toward a higher world record but.. they put more wear and tear on the car that could make it less likely to hit the finish line 😬

I’m glad you were able to turn back and didn’t have to start all over again. This may be silly or not allowed, but could you possibly put some glad press and seal on the bottom of the car to give you a little barrier for things hopefully not getting wet? I know it wouldn’t be a super waterproof thing but maybe a little protection. Just a silly random thought I had. Cheers to day 4 for when you drive 25 miles and make it tonight your next stop. If rains going to be a problem you should stop right now. You're doing this at the start of the rainy season in Florida and it's going to get hotter which will kill your batteries as you come south. Honestly you should try to this at the end of October right after Hurricane season. It'll be cooler and rain less of an issue. I'm going to be a naysayer and say you're not going to make it on this attempt because of less than ideal circumstances.
