10 thoughts running through my head watching this: 1. What am I watching? 2. Why did their shirts come off? (No complaints here) 3. Every time they get close it turns into them fighting... ok. Relatable. 4. I'm really trying to figure out what I'm watching right now. 5. That upper body strength... ooh fuck. 6. Those are some lucky chairs. 7. Am I going to watch the whole thing? 8. I think I get it. 9. I need a pair of socks like that... 10. Holy sh*t. Did this actually just all make sense? Bonus thought at end: I'm shook.

This is a beautiful physical theatre piece, it’s done so well you can see the story behind the movements, and how it progresses the further it goes on. You can tell that they have both worked incredibly hard on this piece; there’s trust there and familiarity between them both as well as the timing of each of their moves and it was truly a splendid piece to see.

I’ve seen the exploration of different aspects of the craziness to connect with someone else so deeply, full of enchantment, then the exploration of each other so on this fase they are unknown so it’s a lack of confidence, the wars which hurts but is full of sexual attraction, then they trust and then there is even the possession, a a dash of toxic and dangerous giving of yourself to this etc, all inside their particular world. The script can sounds naive and they’re lovely young boys but it’s part of it too to build this naiveness, which is romantic and so on.

ok but this is literally so beautiful. like i feel like it's such a metaphor for war and also men's relationships with other men it's like it's hard for them to express their love to each other for fear of being shamed so sometimes they get defensive and lash out and fight but really they just hate how much they love and need each other. I feel like they were thinking 2 soldiers on enemy sides fall in love with each other.
