The WoC makes an amazing travel wallet...passports, boarding pass, travel credit card etc. And you can stuff your big euros in the 'secret pocket'. I wear mine under my jacket/coat and love having it all safely in one place...much easier for when I'm checking I've got my passport every 7 minutes 😅

A rehab topic update, we’re here for it. We’re all guilty of holding onto things we don’t use for numerous reasons, like you’ve mentioned. My top reason I haven’t let go of things I don’t use is sentimental and the thought of passing it onto my daughter (in hopes she’ll appreciate and use it). I’ve attempted to purge items I don’t use. Sometimes I’m able to part ways and sometimes I talk myself into keeping it for “some” reason I’m sure isn’t a good reason. [shrugs shoulders] I’m sure this isn’t helpful but you look great in the pieces you showed that I love and we love the bags. 🥰

Your Deauville tote is beautiful but I have always admired this bag from afar…because I am a mini bag lover. I talked myself out of the Deauville. I needed a second back up to my Fendi runway bag for travel. But then I saw how battered they looked on second hand websites. They looked so pitiful. For the price for fabric, it’s overpriced. I ended up with the black leather LV on the go tote instead. No regrets! The CD book tote was tempting, but it’s fabric too and it doesn’t have a shoulder strap like LV.

I did a big clear out over 2 years and got rid of a ton of stuff and will be having breast reduction surgery so that means a ton more stuff. I own two Hermès Kelly bags but I hardly reach for them unless I’m running errands that require bigger storage space or am traveling (which I have not been doing for the past 2 years). The Chanel Deauville was perfect for yr Uni days, perhaps let someone else enjoy it for their Uni days ( you could buy more RTW). Thanks for sharing! I think for most of the items, your style has just evolved. For me, most of the items I haven’t used in a while are mainly due to the fact that I don’t go out as much anymore. We still mostly stay at home because of the pandemic. So my more formal bags, my tinier bags or more specialized function items… also my louder Gucci shoes don’t get out much. Hopefully, as things open up more, I’d have a chance to sport them more in a few months’ time.

I have some experience with seller's remorse so I'm more careful now about what I get rid of, but my criteria now include: don't use it, don't even like it, know I bought it impulsively. So for my LV shawl, which is black on black so hides its flaws (it doesn't have the loose threads yours has, oh dear), I don't wear it as often as I once did, but I still love it a lot, so it stays. Plus the price has doubled since I bought it!!

I have been looking at a Balmain blazer because of you. However I’ve been having trouble think of how it would wear it especially since we are going into spring/summer. But I keep classics like Chanel RTW, but only that Chanelesque look, not that new styles, that could be mistaken for any other brand 😳 Some Valentino gowns. Same on the designer scarves. I have several McQueen scarves that I haven’t used in awhile. Years really. Usually I’m good at getting rid of stuff when it’s just sitting but for some reason I’ve hung onto these. I didn’t pay full price for any of them and I used to wear them often. Now when I’m getting dressed I would rather wear my designer shoes or bag and then the scarf just feels too much.

I have the most amazing sneakers in my mind, but they are kind of thick winter sneakers… the downside is they’re fur or faux fur I don’t really know, they cannot get wet and as I am from Belgium it’s quite rainy and grey here during winter kind of like in de UK

A feel like recently people are into quiet fashion, or like old money. So those big logos are probably not it. I used to have like this Gucci t shirt literally with the word Gucci on it, I kinda regret it now so I switched it with another one that’s less flashy and casual.

That Balmain blazer is one of those items that you don't get rid of knowing full well you'll wear it again in 4 years. I've personally held on to some more serious/professional Calvin Klein dresses because while I don't wear dresses presently, I know I'll be kicking myself in a few year when I do need one and then have to buy a replacement. Do you think the Gucci slides would be something you'd wear more if they were more neutral and went with your current wardrobe?

I have 2 pairs of chanel studs and the CZ diamonds fall out all over the place immediately. It's ridiculous. Don't have that issue with my CC necklace, though. Just the earrings are a total nightmare. And Chanel won't repair them.
