Isn't it also important to note how many months those have been selling for? Such as the one that showed 46 months. Almost 4 years. So for example if $25k in sales (not profit), minus expenses (60% est.), equals $10k. Divide that by 46 months, equals $217.39 per month. Just wanting to point stuff out like this because too many people are seeing big numbers on KZbin channels and getting too excited and then are completely discouraged when reality kicks in. NOTE: I'm writing this at only 4 minutes into the video, so I don't know if you end up bring this up or not. Wanted to post it before I forgot.

I totally see where you are coming from but your math is off. This seller sold the ornament 24,256 times, not $25k in total revenue! So let's do some fun math for anyone that is curious! They are selling their ornament for $15.99 including shipping, my cost would be $10.33 after shipping so after Etsy fees, that leaves a profit per ornament of $3.69. If you times that by how many they've sold 25,256 X $3.69 = $89,504.64 in total PROFIT in 48 months. If you want to divide that out equally between the whole 4 years they have been selling then that would be $1,864.68 that they have made off of ONE LISTING for 4 years straight. BUT it doesn't sell every month, in reality it has probably sold just 3 months out of each of those 4 years, so in those months, they likely made around $7,458 per month on this one listing! And this isn't the only successful listing they have!! I hope this sheds some light on the actual numbers, I never want to mislead anyone, of course there is also expenses and such but you have to look at the right numbers to really get a sense

My only concern is when I was researching Printify ornament providers I did see the ceramic ornament you spoke about in your video. The problem is between when you shot your video and now that supplier's score has went from the 9.4 you showed to a 7.4 (there's a big hit for quality). That's very concerning to me and I was wondering if anyone has experienced that quality issue with them? I hate to see that large of hit going into the season.

I've had the same concern and it stopped me from listing the ornaments I had designed. I also saw a store on Etsy that had bad reviews with photos of a really blurry print quality on the ornament. I assume that's the reason for the low-quality score on Printify.

I have been plucking my brain nail for at least eight months old how I can start and develop using Etsy. I know this is something that I would like to dive into sooner than later. I think I might be too late for the upcoming holidays this year but I may be able to develop the knowledge for first quarter holidays of 2024. I currently run an ebay store where I am packing shipping all out of my home myself - big, a single mom I just don’t find this to be feasible or economical any longer. I have had ornaments and cups, not so much coffee, mugs, but wine, glasses, and such at the top of my brain as well as notebooks for POD. Anyways, I am rambling and just wanted to say thank you for the informative videos. I will be researching and spending as much time as I can gathering all available data. I hope this video gives you the boost to get going and start making sales, I know it's a long road but please just commit yourself to the research part. People really underestimate how much research goes into selling POD. If you research and look and study the bestsellers on Etsy for an hour a day, you really will start to understand it and see things in a different way!

Do you by chance have any videos about what goes into research because that is my weak point. I have found others videos but I really don't get much from them because a lot of them are in it just for the money. I'm not alone in saying that you care because it's in how you teach it and explain things well. I was very serious I just about give up and even listed my laptop for sale but since finding your channel I decided to keep the laptop and give this another chance. But this is really the only hope I have right now. I recently had to have 8 toes amputated and I'm trying to get disability but that is harder to get than sales on Etsy. So I have been guilty of seeing this as only and money making deal until two days ago. I want to get to where you are at on a passionate level because I love to design. Sorry for all of the messages but I'm super excited now and have renewed hope.

I have a CF yearly subscription, but 90% of the images I have downloaded lately turned out to be AI as I noticed obvious distortions once I downloaded them (hard to see them on the previews). My wife, daughter and I have been designing and posting for about 3 weeks. We have +/- 40 shirts uploaded with a few other projects that I had previously posted, for a total of +/- 50 listing. No sales yet. Views range between 20-70 depending on the day. Is it too early to worry that we have no sales. Im afraid we are not hitting the mark on our designs. Im an architectural draftsman by day , so I have a since of form and space. We are diving into your videos , they have been a GREAT help!
