I haven't got the Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife yet, but from a good research I've done, this and the Condor Darklore, are the only 2 knives, that have the overall design, on every single aspect of the knife and the proper materials, for a decent bushcraft knife, as a bushcraft knife should be. With all the KZbin marketing ,and the brainwash that comes out of it, there have bee ncompanies come out of nowhere, that offer designs, that are completely far from being designed as a bushcraft knife would be, or even use the proper steel and blade thickness, for a scandi grind to work properly. If you notice, most of them, come with 4mm thick blades and in many cases either soft stainless steels or D2 or a variant of D2, jsut made in another country with a different name.D2, is probably the only steel you should avoid, for a scandi grind knife, or any kind of woodworking hard use tool. It doesn't offer any edge stability, that scandi needs a lot of it, neither the toughnes such a blade should have, nore the ease of sharpening etc etc, Same goes for 3mm thick blades, which suck if the grind you put on such a thick blade, is a scandi. That's why Morakniv, Brisa, Condor, and all the bushcraft knives that are considered the best in the world, come with maximum, 3mm thick blades and low alloy Carbon steel blades and not soft stainles, or Super Hard D2.

That's the version that doesn't have the firesteel built into the case but still definately a good price regardless. Chicago Knife works has some great prices I like to support local, Canadian businesses whenever I can. To each his own, and to find a good price where ever that is. Thanks for the comment and for pointing out that price point for that version of the knife. I'll add that price point for that version in the video description
