@@eduardohuezo564 Yeah, for some reason the beginner trials always seemed the hardest to me. The middle trials were really, really easy, the expert trials got pretty hard towards the end again.

@@EskChan19 I think the beginner trials is more difficult because of the low tier weapons you get. I was stuck in room 10 with those two silver Lizalfos like for 3 or 4 days, I broke all my weapons trying to kill them every time. They always regenerated health when they fell into the water. It was so frustrating... at the end, I managed to burn them using wood. That's the only way I found to kill them.

22:30 - when I defeat him, the ball rolled into the ocean way too far out of reach to retrieve and it was constant rain and stuff, had to start an older save and do it over again! That was on Master Mode tho...lol

Honestly, discovering Eventide as late in the game as he did helped him TREMENDOUSLY. Going there early without much stamina, hearts, or any of the champion abilities is really tough.

a trick i learned for the island is that when you get close, you can throw some weapons onto the island, and it'll be there when the challenge starts.

Oh man this Island, its amazing...I remember jumping the entire way there via ice cubes because I somehow didn’t find the boat, only to suddenly be stuck there with 5 hearts and having to run from literally everything. Died every 2 minutes. This is of the best, if not THE best shrine quest in this game. Also this entire scene at 15:16 is just beautiful.

You had enough Stamina to glide all the way to the island if you wanted to. Also, here's a fairy tip: If you have at least 3 fairies in your inventory, fairies will not spawn in the world. Holding them in your arms will cause them not to be in your inventory. So if you go to a fairy fountain and see no fairies, try holding what fairies you can and seeing if they suddenly appear. This trick lets you have up to 11 fairies in your inventory at once.

Should keep in mind BOTW gives you all the abilities at the start then you just solve shrines. Old zelda games you find an item in the dungeon and that is your primary puzzle solving and boss battle item you wont need to "test" everything in your inventory to see what does and doesnt work.

I'm glad you showed that it doesn't have to be easy all the time to have the best experience in a game! I was mortified too when I first landed on Eventide too but by the end of it, I too was clapping my hands at the divergence and uniqueness of the journey to get everything. There are lots of things buried around the place and I hope those who were too scared to do this without cheating or glitching will be encouraged to share in the joy you get from completing the island the way it was designed to be. Side note...please start keeping your jewels for upgrades rather than selling them as you may regret it down the line. The best way to get rupees is by selling luminous stones which are found in many different locations.

Eventide is like a treasure among the BOTW community. Definitely one of the more difficult and rewarding side quests but you beasted it. Eventide is where the game really starts to show it's strengths, forcing you to get creative while still keeping the difficulty in check by putting you against the same enemies you've already seen but taking away most of the shortcuts you've started to rely on. BOTW is a masterpiece, and Eventide is definitely a factor in the overall brilliance.

When I did EVETIDE ISLAND, used Raviolis Wind, landed on the stupid HYNEX, stole the orb and booked it lickity split. I also did this same method when going through the THREE BROTHERS TRIAL.

Go for max stamina. You use it so often that the more you have the better. Plus there's a ton more heart containers than stamina vessels so go for the one that there's less of. Better to have 3 stamina wheels and 27 hearts (28 if you've played the Champion's Ballad) than 30 hearts and 2.4 (or 2.6) stamina wheels. Plus you can visit the cursed statue in Hateno Village to switch them out at any time
