Hey Rob. I’m sitting here on my patio listening to the hum of my generator while my family sleeps. This is our second time in six weeks to be without power from these dang storms. We lucked out after Hurricane Laura. We just lost some shingles. Hurricane delta came through and did a little more damage. We got a little water in the house but we are going to be fine. Some lost so much more. It’s just rough sitting here In my thoughts with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Between COVID and hurricanes this has been one hell of a messed up year. But through it all your videos have kept me entertained and given me a break from the chaos. Especially the videos from the CMNI. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being who you are and doing what you do. I love you and your family. If you’re ever around Jennings Louisiana come on by. I don’t get time to hunt or fish much these days but my doors always open and there’s always a hot meal waiting. See ya bud. -Josh Underwood.

Robert, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the videos you have put out for us. You and your family are God sent. I love the outdoors. I've been trying to get back out to fish and hunt but my body just want let me. I've had brain surgery, back surgery, and had a shunt put in my head. I've been fighting diabetes and taking care of my children. I am not looking for sympathy. I just a single father tried to do the best I can. But I just wanted to say that you and your family, blue Gabe and Kelly have been a blessing to me. God bless and I just can't thank you enough.

As someone that fishes often, the reason Rob is leaving the hooks is in to give the fish the best chance at survival. When a fish is “gut hooked” you cannot reasonably remove the hook without damaging vital organs or causing a large loss of blood. Although leaving the hook in seems inhumane, I can promise from personal experience it is the best route to take!
