Honestly that’s the reason your channel is my number 1 go to is because you upoload tough days as well. It really helps beginners not quit fishing because they see not all days are good days. I went from from 1 day landing 3 keeper reds and then a week later the same spot all I could pull in the kayak was 1 dinker red. I watch ever single video because even on bad days u can educate us on water conditions temperature and tide. Me and Christian( KMF) where talking about how awesome ur videos are just the other day when I seen him in the yak

👍Yes, my friend, these days the fishing is not good, because the tide is very low, and the tide rises one hour in the morning and again rises until the afternoon, for that reason, that is why it is slow because the water does not remain stable.

The only guy that caught anything on the jetty that day was using old shrimp, a very inexpensive spinner setup he was using upside down reeling backwards, and he caught 2 nice reds and what looked like a pompano. He was the guy next to you before you went across the cut.

Mark when you catch those bull mullet. Cut them like fillets. And tip your baits, or just use them like a lure. It’ll look like a bait fish and give a natural scent trail. A good fishing buddy tip me off to this and it works flounder reds and especially mackerel love it

so the cut in the jetty... is that by design? or did a hurricane come along and partially wash it out at some point? And then also, all the sand almost burying part of the jetty... just accumulation over the years? Anyways I wonder if the authorities will come back and dig it back out? I dunno just curious. I feel like I went to that one as a kid but haven’t been back since.

Videos like this is a great marketing tool for those shrimp lures. They should send you a check for this video. It just goes to show how great they work. Cut mullet or a paddle tail didn’t work but the shrimp lure came through. I really need to throw it on a popping cork and see what I can do.

Hey, love your videos but just so you know there's a size limit on mullet in the winter!
@randomguysview2 жыл бұрын
Clarification: May not take from public waters, or possess on board a boat, mullet over 12 inches during October, November, December, and January. No limits apply during other months. Just looked it up cause that's news to me but let me know if in wrong (I'm dyslexic and this reads weird) but wouldn't that mean you couldn't keep anything OVER 12 inches? All of his were under 12 from the looks of it.
@halcofdrops2 жыл бұрын
@@randomguysview I don't have ruler-vision so can't say if he got any bigger than 12". But it looked like some were close and it's good to know the laws and be good stewards for our resources. The big mullet are there to spawn in the winter.
