That is not plaster; that is Portland cement and sand. This technology is very old. Look up centrifugally cast concrete. It works very well on pipe and decorative columns. Remember to put steel rebar inside before you add the cement.

@nitromartini1422

@@SylvanApe : Nope. Cement is dehydrated, ground oyster shells. When you buy a bag, it is labelled as Portland Cement, not Portland Concrete. When you add water to dry cement, a bricklayer calls it "mortar", but a concrete foundation guy generally calls it "cement". The only time this material is "concrete" is after you have added to water and it hardens.
@SylvanApe
@SylvanApe Жыл бұрын
@@nitromartini1422 Concrete is a mixture of fine and course aggregates, normally sand and gravel, mixed with cement as the setting agent. "When you add water to dry cement, a bricklayer calls it "mortar"" No, I would call it a mess, you need to add sand to make it into mortar. 'but a concrete foundation guy generally calls it "cement"' It is true sometimes, in some countries, some people call concrete or mortar 'cement', especially in the US. However, cement is still cement, add sand for mortar, and sand and gravel for concrete. Also, most cement is made from limestone and other mined materials, not many places use shells anymore, in fact shells were not the origin of cement, limestone was. Lime mortar was common because it was easier to get the materials for, but has more limitations. What they were adding to the mould after setting the rebar was concrete.

Very nice idea. It works on the principle of centrifugal force to transfer the cement mixture to the outer negative mould. Very happy to see this idea and keep it up.

Weak and poorly made columns. Rebar is not sufficient for any type of lateral load, see KZbin videos of earth Quakes in this region. Also centrifugal force on concrete mix causes the stones in the aggregate to separate, so you will have more stones on the outside of the column and just sand on the inside. Also do they not have books or internet in this region, a quick search will reveal this is a method for producing decorative garden furniture and fences and NOT structural columns or beams. Basic stuff really if you had any skill, like the type of skill you need to keep a clean and tidy workplace.

3:18 you know this is an easy way to loose an arm. if you need to apply pressure on the inner wall with the rod better to use a heavier rod instead of putting your arm in.

This is a joke.. The rebar used in it so tiny that evetually this item will break. It has no load bearing support. Use good rebar to make the item stronger so you don't fool the clients.
@SkillSpotter
@SkillSpotter Жыл бұрын
Respect your opinion. I think you don't know the construction process. This rebar is only used to hold concrete together during the centrifugal process but at the time of installation this pillar will be completely filled with concrete and strong rebar.

@ajmalyusaf3169 Жыл бұрын
@@SkillSpotter yes you are right . The bars are just to bind the concrete only. After fixing the pillar the inner hole will be filled with rich cement concrete reinforced with steel bars.

There is a difference between an STONE and articles made out of enforced concrete. The first is a product of nature, the second is factory work. I was watching this because I am interested in casting STONE, as they did while building the pyramids and the walls of Maya temples. In recent times we can't cast stone any more. That knowledge has been lost.
@SkillSpotter
@SkillSpotter Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your interest and comment. Actually these are the replicas of cast stone. As you said that the knowledge of the cast stone is no longer and if someone knows it's very much expensive to afford for a common man. So we made this affordable product. A very warm welcome to our channel.

A great film showing two people working as a team to produce a single item. The columns and other building components have been made like this for (tens of) thousands of years, it would seem. See the Praveen Mohan YT channel for examples of ancient temples bulit using both cast and reinforced concrete methods.

You think the ones that are doing the work made the business and bought the equipment? Maybe they sell product too so that their wages are paid too? Interesting how people always turn it into slave talk without even knowing the facts. Maybe that’s an entire family business and they all come together to make it work… you don’t know.

lol, I cannot believe you cannot see the difference between a laborer and the one who owns it/runs it/oversees it. You and your woke crap! So, based on your assumption I'm sure your boss/ MD/CEO or whoever does the same work you do, is paid the same as you and still is called Boss for a reason.
