Yes sir,we should have a caste based census to overcome the discrimination, inequality in the society by providing or rationalising incentives based on the survey.

Yes sir having an updated census with caste embroidered in it is very good initive or plan for prompting equality in the country like how it is promised in fundamental rights art 14 but it should be done in a vigilant and stringent way to avoid uncessary errors

In my opinion, Caste based census very much required to understand and study how the socially privileged and socially deprived communities evolved in 78 years of independence. There can be disparities among the same group castes, one might overly benefiting, one section can be merely benefiting but as discussed only scientific study will give true data. Without that data we cannot guarantee any schemes will make actual progress in right direction. It might create division in society(by over benefiting groups) but it won't create as much negative impact. People are any way disintegrated in means of religion, culture, language, economic status, food preferences, Urban rural mentality, pre tech-post tech growth and always Caste. With census government will utleast gather information for better governance. So caste based census is required for beneficiary of all people in the society.

To me, there is a need for a caste based census in our country where there is a reservation system based on caste. There are still people who are not eligible based on their economic situation but enjoying the benefits of it at the cost of people who actually need it. Caste based census along with their economic status could be used to understand their need for welfare measures and thus would help in targeting people who need it.

My suggestion is to make census based on people's standard of life (financial background, medical history, education background, native history,.etc..) it will show us who really deserve the privilege and who doesn't. If we make the cast based census there might be both privileged and underprivileged sections in same cast, the benefits for underprivileged will also go to previleged classes too and it also works the other way too. We have also seen people who change their cast for the cast based privileges alone. So regarding the cast based census should be reconsidered.

Sir, Caste census is needed to know the progress as well as the disparities of the backward sections of the society since independence, so that the government can make measures to uplift the marginalized sections effectively. Since the purpose of reservation is to ensure social justice it is important to frame policies with actual scientific data for inclusive development. Though it may create chaos like societal divisions, caste census is inevitable for better policies and schemes as reservation is also inevitable. There is no point in making policies with the old data if the benefits does not reach the actual deprived and underprivileged sections.

Sir... Is it not important to consider the sectoral employment opportunities rather than considering only the population count to promulgate targeted scheme to raise the socio-economic standards of the people.

Sir, there is no need for caste census because, it could lead to further more divisions among society. More possibility of vote bank politics on specific majority caste, incase if we find more backward caste it could trigger people to demand more reservation's like bihar. Rather we can take income census that is finding out the financial,health standard of living condition of each poeple could bring things to limelight, government can take more inclusive policy.
