Varna system is not static it's dynamic....there are 4 vedas,18 puranas,108 upanishad, 18 smirits etc..given by vedvyasa.....by the way I am not against ang caste/Varna, but let me tell you the situation..I went to one temple with my 2 friends who is brahmins( who drinks alcohol, ate nonveg, etc) but me( who didn't drink alcohol, eats nonveg but not interested) having same mindset of those 2, but they allowed to eat food inside separately for them not for me and they didn't know even min knowledge on vedas/puranas ......Firstly I got angry and I went on research on this and I got know why and I was ok now. May be this type of situations hates against one each other on caste .......and[[ the man coldwell( English author wrote an article which Tamil is separated from Sanskrit) which in Tamilnadu accepted by periyar(Tamil author)...and then so on which leads to caste system]]].....sorry If I say anything wrong..but I try my best to proper knowledge for upcoming generation to follow the tradition to attain 4 purusharaths.....thank you For reference( # project shivoham)

The Varnas were twisted and distorted as castes and many manipulative things happened during the last few centuries, especially during later part of Mughal Rule and during British Rule. The British activist Max Muller created Aryan Dravidian (false) theory to divide Indians. Even during Dwaparyuga some type of Caste System was there, but there were no caste conflicts. For e.g. only some sections of Yadavs were Gollas engaged in Animal Husbandry. Remaining were Kshetriya Yadavs and they were kings and warriors also, ruling different territories. Vanhi, Bhoja, Andhakas, etc. were some castes among Yadav Kshetriyas. Previously only limited number of Mutts and Swamijis were there. But during last few centuries large number of junior Swamijis started their own Mutts and they changed some customs and religious practices also. Thus very large number of castes and sub castes came into existence. New names were given to existing castes, in many districts and taluks. Further, Similar caste people are called by different caste names in different states. For e.g. farmers are called as Gowdas in Karnataka and Gounders in TN. Vyshyas are called as Shettys and Chettiyars in South, but called as Guptas in Northern States. Most of the MLAs, MPs and even Panchayat leaders use the caste factor as a powerful strategy to get more votes. Many such factors have enlarged and aggravated the caste system and the Noble Hindu Religion is often blamed for wrong things being done by vested interests, using the caste factor.
