Kayleigh does it matter if you hook the caster top or tail, what’s the best way to hook the caster please?

Hook through the head end... try to bury the hook inside the caster with just the point exposed through the shell. Size 16 or 18 hook is perfect.

Why would you fish the carp puddle next to it with quality natural fishing like this? I would rather catch one of those perch than a net full of stockies.
