Cas is definitely my all-time favorite Supernatural character, and I feel like he greatly under appreciated. Just think about all of the times when he was there to check in on them (just because) and that he always came when they called. They never once called on him just to see how he was doing, if he was alright. They only called him when they needed a favor, and that actually makes me really sad.

That's not completely true. Remember when Cas was human and Dean drove like through 4 states just to check on him. Yet I agree that they could think about his feelings more often..

i so agree with you, i'm in a huge binge watching (8x5 now) and the boys disappointed me so much, they blamed cas for being too busy to help them, throw insults at him when he doesn't have the power or the time to help, and rarely appreciate all the times he has been there for them despite of it, use him for his power, pretend that he's part of the team but they never bother to check on him or ask if he's ok, if HE NEEDS HELP, and when he does need it they just let him down, especially how dean called him "baby in a trench coat" or "whiny" when he lost his power, he didn't say that litterally ONE EPISODE before when he saved him from fate, and then he just left him all alone and miserable after he TOOK SAM'S PAIN, how insensitive and a d*** he had to be to do that, the worst part is, cas was still there for them as much as they can be ungrateful spoiled brats, and that makes it even sadder because he deserves better, far better than that

i may not have gotten to that episode, but if you compare all the times he helped/brought them back with how many time they let him down or been just a d*** (mostly dean) you can see how unfair the situation is sometimes, i couldn't even blame him much at the end of s6 because of how the brothers treated him in the past episodes

yes! what happen with them? they are all great characters, but lately is like Sam just care about Dean and Dean about Sam, man is cool, they are brother but not that "family don't end in the blood" Dean told Castiel that he was "part of the family" and that "he need Cas" but he just said that sort of think when he is scared or at the edge of die, I think Dean just used Cas because he is powerful and is a angel but after he had done what Dean need, Dean is just " Sammy?! where is mi man!!? This song just fits Cas' situation so perfectly! I was just rewatching Season 5, 6 and I remembered how badass Cas used to be. He's been through so much and as much as the Winchesters say they count him as family, they haven't really been there for him when Cas needed them. They only remember him when they needed his powers. This especially hurts when Cas was human - he lost his grace and that was the time he needed them most and they just left him to deal with it, he was living in homeless shelters! I really want the original Cas to come back - a strong independent powerful angel who fought his own battles. I hope the writers don't treat him as a sidekick anymore and Sam & Dean need to give him his due. I just wrote a whole paragraph so obviously Awesome video! You really brought out Cas beautifully!

Not to trigger anyone, but I dont ship Destiel because of how Dean treats Cas. Cas would seriously do anything for the Winchester Brothers. Dean has backstabbed Cas it seems like a lot of times. Cas doesnt deserve that. Again I dont mean to trigger any Destiel shippers because I hate when people say bad things about my ships.

Let's see, he refused to actually tell Dean what was going on until the VERY last minute and basically let Sam open Lucifers cage, broke sams wall, causing him to go catatonic, opened Purgatory, took its souls, became GOD because of a PISSING contest between him and Raphael, released the Leviathans out into the world worked with Crowley on a number of occasions, caused the angels to fall (though not exactly his fault), helped Sam release the Darkness, then made a deal with Lucifer which, surprise, surprise, he went back on (King of lies and all that)...yeaaah...thats a lot of mistakes...granted, he was trying to make up for a lot of what he did, Dean has a reason to do this. But even then, he still treats Cas as his brother because of how much shit they've been through. He may be hard on him at times, when he deserves it, but that doesn't mean he isn't family to the Winchesters.

I got into this show 2 months ago and I'm in the middle of season 7. Dean started off as my favorite but when castiel came into the picture I became so attached to him on a personal level in a way. No matter how many times he's left hurt and bleeding or disappointed by dean and sam he is still there for them when they sometimes don't deserve him. I was like castiel for a while until I got so hurt by my 'friends' and made to feel like I can be thrown away as easy as he was. He keeps getting up and fighting and he's inspired me to keep fighting no matter what.

Watching this during the beginning of season 13 and already the treatment of Cass hasnt improved. He is still mistreated and forgotten, he still has to be strong for himself. I was hoping that things would get better for him but they get worse the next few seasons. UGH this hits right in the feels. Thank you for being awesome. The angel deserves so much more than he gets

You know, I see a lot of people saying how the Winchesters treat cas so badly, and how he deserves so much more..should I remind you guys that Sam and Dean risked their own lives for him as they have each other. Maybe they're a bit harsher on him, but you have to remember. Cas has done a lot of bad, even when he thought he was doing good. Opening Purgatory and taking its souls, letting Lucifer possess him, working with Crowley, breaking the barrier that Death put in front of the memories of hell that Sam had...he made his fair share of mistakes, just as the Winchesters have. But don't get me wrong, he's done a lot of good as well...he's saved their asses more times than I can count, even fell for them because he cared about them so much. They treat him just as bad as they treat each other. The only difference is, when Cas fucks up, it usually ends in a LOT of bad...I mean hell, i would have dropped him when he broke Sams wall, I would have straight up killed him...but because all 3 of them are brothers, because they are a team, they stood by him and helped him, even when he was at his worst.

А вот на счёт Люцифера... В тот момент все уверяли его в том, что он по сути никакой роли не играет и что единственная его роль - быть собачкой Винчестеров. На самом деле, его в этом уверяли ВЕСЬ сериал. Кас не мог позволить Дину или Сэму жертвовать собой, так как они были важны, а Кас, в тот момент, окончательно признал, что он не имеет значения. Он был сломлен. Так что в этом его винить я не могу и не хочу. Да и убить Рафаэля тоже было важно, он мог открыть клетку и все старания были бы зря... Только вот побеспокоить Дина, который жил нормальной жизнью он не мог, да и в шестом сезоне Винчестеры явно дали понять, что им плевать на войну на небесах. Поэтому у меня смешанные чувства по этому поводу. Напоследок скажу, что песня в едите очень подходит для Каса из шестого сезона.
