This is my first time seeing your videos. I was casually enjoying you two talking, catching some fish, cussing, being frustrated and all that. It was getting toward the end so I assumed you'd quit fishing and give a "maybe next time we'll get one on this ridiculous lure" talk to the camera, then BAM! Greetings from California. I love watching how people fish in other parts of the world, for species I do not have access to. You may want to try a long lining technique with those heavy baits in the future. Cast it out then move your boat away from the bait to let out more line so you can have a longer retrieve.

I'm surprised that you even use swim baits for pike. That has to get expensive because the pike will chew them up quickly. Have you considered trying to throw a giant spoon for pike? Maybe that's too heavy.

This is a video that strikes me personally right now my friend. I have an unsolved beef with a big river pike that size that i had and pulled all the way in and right before I grabbed him up he did a last ditch super yank and snapped off and busted the tip off my rod and took my best and most expensive lure as well! So not only did i lose the trophy fish i lost my pole and lure 🤯😱👿 and to top it off i came back a few days later to squash that beef and he swam right up to the dock and looked right at me and in pike language said "yep FU bud" and swam off. So when I saw you catch that monster i was envious bud. Ill have my revenge in t-2 days this weekend his ass is mine even if I have to fkn camp out there all weekend. 😎🎣🤙 Keep up the good work guys, love it!
