When I was a kid and just evening fishing near strand there was deeper part of the lake, a rock wall descending, there was a seagull swimming, waiting for a free fish, and it made a weird sound then huge splash and it was gone instant, that was a huge pike I'll bet

Video Idea if you are willing to spend a ton of time and money. You should do a catching every pike species video because there are tons of crazy less known pike species. Chain Pickerel ( green pike )- only in America slightly smaller than normal pike. Southern pike- Southern Europe and Mediterranean about normal pike size. Amur pike- in Asia grow 120+ northern pike size can grow bigger. Muskie- you already know Normal pike- yak Tiger Muskie- hybrid pike/ Muskie all over northern US and maybe in Europe also idk.

What if u put hooks on the camera?

You guys need to mix up your retrieves! I am not a lure guy i am a fly guy... the fast stripping is one of the worst ways to get pike to eat especially when the water is cold... swim the fly like a wounded baitfish like a glide bait or swim bait your hook ups will go up exponentially... these guys going crazy for 24" inch pike Geesh if you slowed your retrieves down those 24" - 30" pike would turn to 45"-48" fish

Since you are used to throwing big and heavy lures, you should invent a lure that is big enough to put the camera inside the lure. Then the pike cannot get distracted from your lure and the potentially attractive electronic signals come from the lure itself. Plus it should be easier to cast.
