For your bite marks in rubber lures- bring a torch like what plumbers use to solder copper pipes and a butter knife. Heat up the butter knife, insert into the slice, and hold. The scar will melt back together once you hold it for a few seconds. Nice fish guys- your Pike are beautiful

Correction worlds biggest freshwater lure, I've seen some big lures used for marlin fishing and they definitely dwarf these

I used to watch a lot of fishing shows when I was younger, and I can honestly say finding a lot of different fishing KZbinrs out there give me some nostalgia but also make me feel like it's just a lot better quality and more enjoyable watching the fishing rather than feeling like it's 100% commercialized. Thank you for producing such fantastic content❤

I love marlin baits, thus why I watched you guys. I have to say, very disappointed in the use of tech. Your in a low pressure spot that is restricted so the fish quality remains. The use of live scope and drones is taking all the true sport out of it. Many people do NOT practice C&R and the more this is permitted, the less fish there are...fact. In the last 15 years I have watched secret spots that produced trophies be reduced to nothing due to tech and Google Earth...now there is live scope and drones . Many years ago, I caught a massive pike where my finger was cut, EU fisherman chastised me about how the fish was released...it was never harmed, a circle hook was in the lip and she was a very strong swimmer on release. The same CAN NOT be said for that specimen of a grayling. Its thought had a hole in it on the right, it's jaw was ripped on the left. It was floating upside down in the net....and swam away clearly not in a good state...I would give that release an honest 10% survival rate.

My name is Todd and I'm also from Texas action originally from Ohio I've been here for 20 years. That first bait that you use for Pike and caught it on what was that one called. That looks like that be a hell of a musky lure also. I'm really intrigued by it. I'd like to try to find me something close to it and try it down here in Galveston Texas in the Gulf and she want maybe I can get to hit it. What did he call it.
@todddreher12208 күн бұрын
So the Pike was 42 in which is a good size Pike. And when they're in places like that that don't get hammered my people all the time they get huge. That thing will probably be hitting about 56 inches in a few years. I want to know what type of lure that is and if I could even buy it somewhere. I'd like to use that out here in Galveston in the Gulf here in Texas

Its fun to see you guys work the ultra big baits and it takes a lot of patience to hook on a fish with them thats for sure. Respect to the effort and the beautifull nature out there. Love to see try out a challenge casting ultra big and ultra small spoons. Thats a kind of forgotten lure but quite hot to them pikes and the wight of even mega large spoons might still be decent for casting. Thanks for your great videos.

I have been fishing that area for 30-years, mostly grayling. In a lake not far from this lake i had a pike atacking my oar. It atacked the oar twice and then followed alongside the boat for maybe 20 m. I poked it with the tip of my flyrod and it turned away. I estimated the weight to be around 13-15 kg .
