Interesting dagger. An idea for the next video, make the logo for Half Life 3, I did it in tergopol haha, I'll see how it turns out. And a question, how is it that these "sticks" are called that have letters that are hammered and the letter that they have is printed? Where can they be obtained? Or how could it be done?

I had an idea the other day. What would happen if you made a simple depression mold of say a coin. Then melted something with a relatively low melting temp like tin and poured it. Then with the tin still liquid dropped some bits or flakes of something like copper in. Would it be suspended 🤔 or would it sink and create a cool pattern of copper and tin on the coin face?

Love that dagger, have you thought about doing the COG emblem from Gears of War think it would turn out great 👍

Hey @artbyadrock do you have to use a different crucible for the different metals I always thought that you can use the same crucible for the different metals ????????

You don’t have too but I don’t like to mix alloys in case there’s some left from a previous melt 👍🏻

I say you make your own currency. Do a 3 coin currency. A square for “$1”, and 2 regular coins. A “50¢” and a “25¢”. That’d be cool

Hey Adrock can I build a cement mold for casting or is it too porous. Make the mold then cut it in two for retrieval after melting or is there too much moisture in cement or plaster.
@ArtByAdrock4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t do it. Cement is way to porous and any moisture will cause a steam explosion and most like burn you. Plaster would be much better if cured properly in a kiln but cutting it into 2 parts would most likely break it. Even after pouring it’s really only good for 1 use. I’d recommend making a silicone mold first then pouring in wax. Then use the plaster to melt out the wax and pour in the metal. Much better results. 👍🏻 hope that helps
