Last night I asked God to show me if he wanted me to go back to church, I asked him directly. Last night I had a nightmare of a demon chasing me. H caught me and was beating me. He was stabbing my wrist and mocking me telling me I was lost and I'd never come back. I was trying desperately to wake myseIf. I felt a hand grab the back of my collar and I came to and woke up with a stabbing pain in my wrist. God was telling me it was time to come back to his flock. I am listening. I am going to church this morning and I am going to do my best to live for him from now on. I've wept this morning listening to his songs of praise. You're never too lost for God, he will always find a way to speak to you and show you what you're missing.

Like another comment stated, I also suffer from social anxiety, addiction, shame and guilt. I prayed to god right before this song popped up about struggles related to this. Its been 2 years and ive lost everything including my job. My social anxiety has spiraled out of control. Im 26 and feel like im throwing my life away. I can't live like this anymore. I truly believe this song popped up for a reason. Like the other comment, Im making a change. Starting tomorrow no matter how hard it is or how many obstacles there are. I know God has me and will help me back up when I fall. We will all get through our struggles.

I have something to say. I was in my living room just thinking deeply of the things I've done in the past. (This was when I was in my emotional state) I started crying and doubting myself. In my mind, I heard these thoughts saying, "You're disgusting" and "God will never forgive you." But then this song came into my mind, "The Voice of Truth," from Casting Crowns. It's like the words were flowing into my mind. Then I felt God's love and peace surrounded me. It's just amazing how God speaks to us in so many ways. I won't ever forget that day. Still struggling but I know my Savior is with me, I'm trying my best to grow deeply in him and his words for my life. I'm just very thankful for God's love. Thank you, Lord!❤

My faith in Jesus Christ led me to recover from emotional abuse by my birth parents and in-laws. They profess to be Christian and even hold prominent positions in the church too. Behind closed doors and when no one is looking, they're hateful, mean-spirited, gossiping, and spiteful. They really hurt my wife too.
