Happy Halibut fishing from northern California, San Francisco Bay Area. North of us we have Pacific Halibut go up to Alaska. Here central California to Mexico, California Halibut. Smaller but plentiful.

Hey guys, ... Nice Halibut adventure... Well, ... they essentially are Flounders…. just really big ones…. 🤣 lol.…here in California, ... We have both Pacific Halibut and California Halibut which is indeed a true Flounder and not a Halibut….the Pacific are quite bigger according to our Fish & Game Department.. Anyway, cool video..!!!!👌😎👍

It's possible, before the water heats up you can find them shallow but during summer alot of them go deeper and then it becomes tricky when casting. But up there, in may, should still be very cold 😃
