I don't understand how you got the mug to be hollow via the mould? What is in between the molten metal and what would be the centre of the mug? Surely the dirt would just fall apart if left inside Edit please answer it is early here and this is hurting my brain 😅

I have a lot of good things to say about this guy and his work but the most impressive thing is the wide range of talent he's shown us. Built a crossbow. Knows how to use a bow and arrow. Knows how to do handle wraps on katanas. Knows gun safety. And a million of small bits. Awesome channel.

@@yilingpatriarch31 - Well, those metal mugs are hollow (in a vacuum) on the inside and lightweight for a reason. Metals are very efficient to transfer heat.

نمیدانم ترجمه میشود یا نه .. لیوان پلاستیکی را پر از شن کرد و درون قالب گذاشت و بعد مواد مذاب را ریخت (با ذوب شدن پلاستیک ، مواد مذاب جایگزین آن میشود) و در اهر شن نمیگزارد داخل ان پر از مواد مذاب شود

Brass often contains lead. Using unknown brass scrap for casting drinking vessels is probably a bad idea. Fine for something decorative, or to use for a potted plant, though.

This is how molders in foundrys use to prove they could do the job. I know of some interesting cups made. That are better and worse then that. I made s stirofome cup or glass. It is harder then it looks. And my cup was not loss the loss methode. Thumbe up on that.
