I finally ordered some greenstuff and some milliput. I hope that I can get some easier results using those. The way I did it is not the best way. But, it was fun to try.

I suggest using more sprue in the glue after the first 2 layers, but the tamiya putty works good too, do you think mili put would work?
@brianshobbyspace35692 жыл бұрын
First of all thanks for watching. Second, I have never trief miliput. It was easy to get the Tamiya out of the mold so if miliput is anything like Tamiya then yes I think it would be fine.

Milliput will work even better i can promis you that much

Thanks....though I suppose epoxy putty is safer, easier, and faster way to go.

Yes, you are correct. Epoxy putty is the faster way to go and much easier. But, it was fun to try this out.

Please don't put your hands in Aceton mate, this stuff can cause a Dermatitis after even short periods of use. Always wear gloves and goggles and use it in a well ventilated room. The Sculpt is great btw, did exactly the same to get a free Trogglodon from the leftovers from the Carnosaurus. I used milliput and green stuff

Thanks for the heads up about the dermatitis. I will definitely do that in the future.

I do not have access to reasonably priced green stuff here in Japan but I finally found a shop that sells milliput. Any advice on shaping it? The tamiya epoxy is alright but a bit difficult to work with and shape.

Hi Brian :) don't eat from those bowls, they're contaminated with epoxy
